My favorite scene from the NES game has to be, of course, the epilogue - where Mega Man is walking through the different seasons while a soothing melody plays in the background, before finally arriving home and leaving his helmet behind. It is perhaps the most iconic scene in the entire franchise.
Yea! It is. Unfortunately that scene with the 4 seasons was NOT in the book! Nor was the opening where MegaMan is ontop of a high rise building with no helmet. Oh well whatcha gon do? Thanks for watching 💫

What a great emoji face
As a little kid, I was always disappointed they never had any Mega Man merchandising stateside. I'd see pictures of Japanese Rock Man merchandising in some game magazines here and there, but it took until his first solo cartoon series for anything to even come up.
And that TG show took forever to make. By then I was almost 18 and to me it was like eh by that age. Oh well. Missed opportunities

Man, that one boss where you can ONLY defeat it with the Crash Bomber is so cheap!
You only have JUST ENOUGH Crash Bombs to beat it perfectly. If you miss once, you have to get a Game Over to start the stage over with a full weapon tank!
Yea I remember that. How cheap! I thought you could clear it perfectly but have 2 or 3 bombs left over? Time to go back and play it! Thanks for watching ⚡️
There's actually a trick where you can take out the leftmost wall and the topmost Boobeam with the same Clash Bomb, and if you conserve it right, you'll have one Crash Bomb left over for Wily Machine 2 phase 2 (better to use it there than on the Quick Man rematch).

There are 12 books by this author covering the mainline series up to 8 , 3 game boy games and X-1. Next year means literally 1 year from now. As the plan is 1 book per year as the next to last episode of the year

Yes. I will do one per year. I know that’s a long wait but it keeps it feeling like a special event and prevents burning out the idea. So next November will be Mega Man 3!!

I actually played Mega Man 3 1st back in 1992. I played Mega Man 2 a few months later and I remember being blown away by the music. Mega Man 4 is my absolute favorite 8bit Mega Man

One of my favorite things regarding Mega Man 2 is how many Robot Masters Dr. Wily made while trying to make Metal Man (or was it Quick Man?).
Mecha Dragon is easily one of my favorite bosses in the whole series.

Hi. I recently found your channel thanks to (now retired) youtuber, Ultra Healthy Video Game Nerd. It's quite good and has one of the two things I've been looking for a long time: information on the history and background of retro games from Japan.
Also, I have this idea for a video that I pitched to Ultra Healthy but he retired before it could meterialize: you might have heard of renowned Japanese writter, Ranpo Edogawa (1894 - 1965).
Back in 1995, there was a movie based on him and his novels, with a Sega Saturn tie-in game.
The idea for the video would be to explain who Ranpo Edogawa was, his legacy after death, a Movie vs Game comparisson and other extras (like how the main character from the TV show Mei Tantei Conan, based his fake name on Sir Conan Doyle and Ranpo Edogawa, making him Conan Edogawa)

I played through this as a kid, as most of us did, and the ending of Megaman 2 always amazed me. It seemed so much deeper than what I saw on the screen - and apparently it was. But there was no Manga in Sweden to explain the pictures on the TV, so I made up my own interpretation....
That.. and recorded the end music as the answering message on my dads business telephone answering machine.
Because the world needed to hear that amazing music. Naturally.

My favorite scene in the original game: The walk through the "seasons", and then Mega Man who vanishes, just leaving his helmet behind. Would have been a great end for the series itself.

Why is this channel called GTV Japan?
Well it kind of evolved over time. But it’s a channel so there’s the TV part G is short for Gokujo which means “of the finest quality” in Japanese. And the channel is based in Japan. Probably having japan in the channel name helps it be searched. Thanks for asking
My favorite Mega Man scene actually isn't from any of the games it's from the 90s cartoon. Specifically the episode where X goes back in time and meets classic Mega Man

I kinda wonder why there isn’t a manga for Mega Man 3
There is! I have the book! I will make a video of it this year. The problem is that it’s not called “mega man 3” because these books weren’t started until 1992 and there were nes/fc game based books and also gameboy game based books and so it got confusing after a while. “Mega Man 3” does introduce protoman and other characters from 3 and some from 4, owing to that these games were all out by then for a while

Oh, and one other question... When will you also get to doing the Mega Man 4, Mega Man 5, and Mega Man 6 Mangas? within the next year perhaps if i had to guess? (also, Centaur Man is actually revealed to be a woman in the Mega Man 6 manga, which i found fascinating enough for me to consider Centaur Man the only dysphoric Robot Master in the Classic Series.)

This manga is fantastic plus why would mega man just let dr wily go he gave him a redemption before so why should he now I can't wait till the next manga your doing
I have a theory on that. Dr. Wily being the second smartest scientist in the world knows exactly how to manipulate a machine and is able to confuse or trick MegaMan into letting him go. If it was a human capturing wily he’d be locked up for life!
