Hi, I don't think there is an amplifier remote turn ON wire in the factory HeadUnit. I used the ACC 12V wire going into the unit. see video at th-cam.com/video/JbBI_nuSZsU/w-d-xo.html the ACC wire is the thin red wire (with black strip on it) located at the far end connector almost at the corner. You better use a DVM and see that there is 12V only when the ignition switch is ON.
