I'm going to be that geezer from the US riding on the rails in the UK. With a phone and ear buds plugged in my ear bumping Jungle music. I'm going to make it's a Tom & Jerry track. Oh yes, I will be yelling out, "TUNE!". 😄😊😏
Quality. T&J always hit the spot. I can't believe I slept on so many of their releases at the time.....I really wish I'd bought more of 'em....original presses go for silly money now! This is a wicked riddim!
@AnthonyDavid94 Yeah man this tune is out of this world. Well pleased that i found it after years of searching. Thanks for the upload. My cousin had this record as well as many other rare tunes from the time but he sold them all years ago.
Jimbo Slice this was back in the 90s too and it was playing loud at a music store in the Mall and i just wanted to know what this genre was after I found out I've been a junglist since I heard btw I'm American so jungle was big in America but not huge like the UK
***** Yeah because the mall near me had a record store and they guy who worked there loved this music. You see, that when we were in the 90s growing up we had such awesome and best music and thanks to the record store and toonami that's when I developed a love for dnb.
These were underground releases in a niche scene, that was pretty much only based in the cities of England over 30 years ago. I doubt these releases would've been anywhere near Warner Bros radar at the time!

Use to sneak in to my cousins room as a younger when he was out to play this tune

Drum and bass at its best.

I hope (wish really) that all jungle records and other genre of music like breakbeat and hardcore would be repressed.
Are you still alive ?
I remember hearing this tune when I was 7 at the mall

Jimbo Slice I agree that this should be big because it's just so awesome and better than crappy dubstep.
Jimbo Slice junglist movement!!!
that's crazy to read because i swear listening to dnb always reminds me of being in the mall when i was a little kid

thank god almighty the sun is rising
Some parts of the bass line remind me of Dont Disturb This Groove by The System.
At me remind Concrete jungle of Bob Marley
my middle name is David !!!
does anyone know where the vocal sample comes from?
Rinse out
wow
Is the name Tom & Jerry not copyrighted????
Van Beuren first used it
The Tom&Jerry cartoon was based on these records
