Absolutely amazing climber. Also he really *likes* discourse markers. He utters approximately 147 "like" filler words in this ~10 minute segment. So 1 every 4 seconds or so.

@@spiroxylo2247the experience of a climb is inherently connected to its difficulty. Grades are made to be a representation of difficulty, the issue is that grades are literally one dimensional, integer values, meanwhile one climb can be harder than another without going up a grade. This also doesn’t account for the difficulty of climbs being very personalized but grades being overarching, climbs can objectively be much harder for someone based on morphology, or subjectively harder based on their style of climbing. Grades are not useless though, they are useful to describe difficulty, they just aren’t perfect at doing so.
