I mean if you have stiff muscles like myself. Regardless what you do. Found about compression when my blood kept on pooling into my feet and felt lightheaded. Tippy toed into it via Compression Socks at 20-25mmhg. => oh wow, it actually worked. => ordered compression tights at 20-30 mmhg rated because my thighs were heavy. => I got it yesterday and the measure in difference in vertical jump is roughly 20%. This only applies if you have stiff muscles that cramps regardless. Vertical Jump without compression: 21 inches Vertical Jump with compression: 28 inches. Specifically 2XU MCS tech. Only thing is that there’s no pocket :’).
Great review! I think your video could benefit from balancing the audio levels a bit -- your voice audio is quite low compared to the music that is pretty loud.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. Depends on the run really. If I run a hard race, say a marathon, I would wear them for most of the rest of the day. Not sure there's a right answer though and it's a case of finding out what works best for you.
Personal preference really. I wear compression shorts and tights without underwear. I know quite a few people who wear running specific underwear underneath. Something like the from the company runderwear.
I've been curious about compression gear for a while.. I've had them in the cart a few times and always bail. May have to give some a shot! Have a great weekend Peter.
You could try to wear some compression leggings but a quad strain is going to take time and management. Compression can benefit with general recovery and once you're over your quad strain might help build a bit of confidence as you return to exercise.

Thanks John. Appreciate the advice. I'm still learning so I'll definitely take that on board.
Thanks for the video. It answered my questions.
I love it, I wish skins would make a one piece full body suit. I would wear it all the time at home for recovery.
You wouldn’t be able to get out of it 😂
@@Maza75 tighter the better 😉
How long would you typically wear your compression socks post run/ for recovery? great video. thanx

Awesome video. Thanks!
Good review!
Are compressions sets good for hiking?
Yeah go for it! 👍
i thinking about buy a compress short. 1 question though: are these tights supposed to be worn with or without underwear ?

Thanks, you too. Yeah go for it Brendon. Worth a go I reckon.
Do these help with quad muscle strains?

I'm a big fan of it to be honest. Except when it gives me ringbsting 😂
You are seriously wearing them wrong mate unless you have a compression thong!
@@martinkb10 😂😂😂😂only. When It rains the friction is real
Can we carry compression fo 24 hours
Quick question, with the compression shorts do you wear underwear under them?
I've been wondering myself but I believe the idea is that these are used as a "base layer".
do you wear underwear under the compression shorts?
I don't. I know some people like to. However, if you do, in my opinion you'll want some specialist underwear. For example, Runderwear.
@@PeterMRiley Runderwear is the best name one can think of lmaooo
you really need to look into normalizing your audio levels dude!!
Compression gear is the best, could never run a sub 20 5k for a compression shorts and then I ran a sub 18 5k before even doing a 19 minute
🤤
