Great info as per usual Chez the only issue I have with Tomplay is I thought they would have more modern tracks ie from 80s 90s 00s etc. But a fantastic tool to learn.

Love the sound of your new sax. What sort is it?

I definitely feel the emotion that was put into this. I've been playing the Alto Saxophone for about 3 years, and I continue to advance. Should I play alongside my saxophone the flute first or the clarinet first? Thanks. Also, I really enjoy watching your videos.

Chez! Love your advice. Could you do a review of the Theo Wanne shakti alto sax. I would really like to know your opinion on it before I buy one.

I'm just learning Amazing grace this week by chance! Trying to catch up so I can book another one on one tutorial ... this video is perfectly timed thanks! 👍 (a new Sax?) Also, I never realised what a difference reeds make. I tried some Legere's but the Fibracell Premier reed is so fresh on Selmer Soloist C * ... "bright". (Thanks for the cool App advice, it will really help to learn "In the mood" which is too fast for me).

As a possible topic for another video: is it possible to say what the relative importance of one’s embouchure, mouthpiece and saxophone pay in the production of one’s sound or, are they so interdependent that it is impossible to separate the various elements?
From your own experience, how long did it take before you managed to produce your own “sound”?
I have been playing for just over two years now and occasionally I get a hint of the sound that I would like, but it is like dappled light through the branches of an apple tree: no sooner does the light illuminate something than the breeze blows and the light disappears.
