@@SKANDaR0875 Egypt got shafted by lots of Arab nations during the 67 war. Only Jordan, Syria and us and everyone wiped their hands. We lost heavily to Israel and lost the whole of Sinai and Israel took the Golan heights from Syria. Nasser was stupid to believe that he would form a solid alliance with the rest of the Arabs. My family lost two members who died in the 67 war. President Sadat was clever to understand that the Arabs are all talk with no action and since we are the biggest nation in the middle East and we still lost we had to take our pride back. We fought the 73 war and took the whole of Sinai back and he took the initiative and formed peace and asked the Arabs to join him including Arafat as he was in a good position for claiming more land back but instead all Arab nations cut ties with Egypt and called him a traitor. If it wasn't for Sadat we will be still at war and we wouldn't have had Sinai back.
The simple truth is Arabs don't trust each other and never formed a solid alliance towards the Us/ Israel policy. Saudi Arabia could turn the tap off and starve the whole world of crude oil and threaten to get a fair solution to the Palestinians so why that didn't happen.
These are facts of history but sadly everyone points at Egypt as the cause of the problem but we are not. We were in a good position after the 73 war but everyone else was stubborn and didn't take the golden opportunity.

Had never heard of Bassem before the war in Gaza. Saw his interview with Piers Morgan (whom ive never liked) and wow. This is a man to listen to. Hes so right. Its the people that need to be heard not the leaders and politicians who cant seem to work their way out of a paper bag let alone a war or a crisis. If there is one thing ive learned since Oct 7th its that there are good decent moral people in this world who are being noticed more now because they stand up for what they believe in. Youssef is one of these. Thanks to the internet and social media we are getting to see the truth in a lot of things that we would otherwise be blinded to by lies and propaganda.

Cannot quite understand why people are still shocked that comedians are more eloquent, knowledgeable and/or relatable than politicians and pundits.
The main reason most of them are comedians is because they have such a unique, powerful and witty way to dissect pain, suffering and misery of people the world over....and somehow makes them feel better about their life (situation). ❤❤❤

They try to convince you the situation is complex because they supported an occupation and genocide. As many Jewish thought leaders have said over the decades - it’s not complex, it’s simple. It’s occupation. Noam Chomsky, Ilan Pape even Albert Einstein have pointed this out. The only complex part is the solution. Because Justice would be returning 100% of occupied and stolen land to Palestine, but that would leave all Israelis essentially displaced. As the occupation bas gone on for 75 years, you can imagine how many Israelis were born in occupied Palestine and lived their whole lives there. The solution is complex because we all know it can never be 100% just.

From his show uncensored, he is trying to whitewashed Israeli war crimes and to draw the impression as if the conflict started on 7th of October. He has no moral compass, he condemned Russia the aggressor in Ukraine and support Israel the aggressor since 1948, occupier and apartheid regime. Bassem Youssef seems like a good man. I am Jewish. I absolutely 1000% do not agree with everything he is saying. I agree that we all need to sit down and talk. I disagree with how he attacks and accuses Israel of all kinds of crimes unfairly. He remind me of my late uncle. How he looks how he speaks how he jokes. I hope one day we all can have a civil conversation.

that funny man graduated from Cairo University's Faculty of Medicine, majoring in cardiothoracic surgery, in 1998. He passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination and has been a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), He practiced as a cardiothoracic surgeon in Egypt for 13 years, until his move into comedy and political satire. He also received training in cardiac and lung transplantation in Germany, after which he spent a year and a half in the US working for a company that produces medical equipment related to cardiothoracic surgery. Can you do that? Do you have more than 3.8 GPA?

@MRawash simply put, he has condemned hamas. Therefore he would be killed. It's safe to speak openly and boldly in Australia. He wouldn't last 24 hours in Gaza. Yet he defends Palestinian people, who voted for hamas. Il take this clown seriously when he walks the talk.
