My dad was posted in the same location of BSF in year 1991. We stayed in Kashmir from 1990 to 1998. Seen lot of bloodshed. Then posted to Takenpur 1999 to 2004.
On that time i was also in shrinagar with my grandfather,who was also in BSF. after minutes of friction i was safed in bomb blast in market 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨।so dengours time

I am a Kumaoni (Delhi vaala Kumaoni but parents still live in Champawat) and i agree with Major sahab 110%. My 70 year old father when he comes to visit me in the winters walks around in shorts in December in Delhi as if its nothing. Pahadi khoon me kuch to hota hai.
I am from Darjeeling and I can relate to this.
We had a Garhwali girl in class. In winter when we wore thick jackets, she would roam around in a thin half sweater. Once I asked her why she bothered with that at all since she seemed impervious to cold. She laughed and said she wore it for our benefit because if she didn't wear any sweater at all people started asking even more questions and offering her shawls.

General K J S Dhillon sir that person holding the trigger at the LOC/LAC has the permission to fire and how a soldier opened fire in North East when you asked him how the LMG fires, and he cocked the weapon and opened fire at the enemy post.
