Oh my god! This was absolutely a delight dolly. I can relate to what you said about feeling embarrassed as a teenager with your background & who you really are. Accepting this universe as it is, is the most satisfying yet hard thing to do. By the way the language of your village is totally like mine. Been ages since I visited my dadi ka ghar, thank you for making me relive those beautiful moments.

Dolly di this is why you're one of people who I look up to online. You refuse to bow down to the pretend/hustle/opulence culture that is so prominent in this age of the internet.
I have never lived in a village but I use to visit my father's village every summer holiday growing up while the other kids in my class went on some vacation holiday. I use to feel so ashamed of my background but it has been 5 years now since I've proudly accepted and love my background of being a tribal person. Your video is just so heartwarming. I hope more and more us Indian youths appreciate who and where we came from and learn to co-exist and thrive for the coming ages.

Can totally relate as teenagers we were embarrassed of our roots. But I guess that’s a part of growing up. Lucky are those who still have their roots in villages and can visit them once in a while. It was a very beautiful vlog. Honestly, a part of me didn’t want it to end. Keep em’ coming. Also, I already miss Harshit. 🥲

This video just made me realise how so many of us have had the opportunity to enjoy both these lifestyles. Growing up in a small town, visiting our maternal grandparent's village in summer vacations. And then one day leaving our small town to chase our dreams in big cities. A lot of learning and unlearning happen in the process of fitting in. But our heart keeps oscillating between the old and the new.❤️

I come from Agra, and have always been proud of my roots. The dialect spoken in dolly's video called braj Hindi is something I absolutely adore and continue to speak in the same dialect with my family regardless of where I stay. 🥺❤️ When I heard her family speak, it transported me to my vacations back at home and how everything gets 10× more interesting when spoken in braj.❤️

Oh My god Dolly. This video hits different. It feels so personal watching this specially coz I Belong from a very small town. It's like I have never been to this house but still I have seen all of this✨
Now a days social media is all about perfection, all about the fancy stuffs(which often made us feel as if we are less), far from reality.
    But this...
Its something very familiar. The house, the people, the chulha, The white kumbals, The kande, The road, every bit of it and your parents, they all felt like Home❤️
Thanks for sharing such beautiful video with us. It made me feel really good after a long time❤️😘

Today we might stay in high-rise buildings but the ultimate happiness will always lie in the choorans, khet ki mitti, tube well mai nahana, makke ke roti ❤️❤️

The similarities in village life on both sides of the border are quite a lot I love how simple and pure people are in these villages they might not have enough money but the hearts are so big and it shows..they're so welcoming and content with what they have never embarrassed of their lifestyle. I think it is us who live in big cities and still feel emptiness no matter even if we have whole world around us.

But seeing ur old house tour 2 month back , it made me realise how we appreciate ourselves and accepting is a big deal , if ur not ashamed. Of it then no one in world will dare to feel u ashamed ... From ur house tour vdo I learnt this lesson ...accept whatever it is ...that reality ...that what make u ..U !

I come from the same and I think I felt the same embarrassment and was ashamed by the fact that I am associated with a Village and a part of me always felt like ' I don't belong here, . English was everything for me, so I read every possible book that I get my hands on so much so that now I don't even know my dialect, I was always in fear that my classmates would find it and so I never used to talk about my hometown, I was obsessed with perfecting myself and I think that was not for me, I was judgemental so that's what I expected from others and maybe some of my classmates were.
I still haven't gotten over it but slowly I am connecting to myself and not judging others for their dialects, their way of living life, and I am in a no place to say this but I think I am thankful that I belong from a village.

No idea how I landed up here. But need to say it was something really beautiful I saw after a long time. When everyone is loud and fake in their vlogs yours came across as a very grounded and true. God bless you

I can totally relate. My dad's family is from a village nearby yours- Khanua in Rajasthan. They talk in the same language- it can sound very rude but there's such a honesty and well 'apnapan' for everyone in it. I have had the same experience when I used to go to gaanv as an educated, english speaking kid. But with time I realized how loving, simple and connected with each other people in villages are. They might not have a lot, but the spirit of sharing is unparalleled. Loved this video, it brought me back to all the memories of my village!

So beautiful! ❤️ almost all of us come from the similar background! The houses (green painted walls), chulhe ka khana , nani ka chup chaap hath mein paise pakada dena, vo gaon ki shops se pata nahi kya kya khana, gher, khet these are the luxuries which is difficult to experience now a days!
After seeing your vlog I miss my nani’s house. Even they have similar walls.
I hope you had a great stay! 😌
