are you out of your god damn mind? the phone won't effect card in any way.. In off cases, the card did get damaged just get a new card. The company will replace it for you and you don't even have to pay. In off case your company is cheap, it takes only like 3 dollars to get a new one.

Two, it makes no sense - to use an actual, old-style magnetic card, you'd have to physically take it out of the case to swipe it through the reader. And if it's a proximity card, then the phone absolutely cannot do anything to it, and you are 100% safe.
Can't risk writing my boss's name on my lunch. Nobody would steal it, but somebody might do stuff to it.

Don't do the phone one. The phone will demagnetize your key card and your phone battery will get ruined by the magnet in the key card.
