People call “Miami” to Miami Beach. That’s a tourist section.
Miami is HUGE. And there’s actually nothing noteworthy to photograph down here. Not to mention the weather alone will bring you down.
The sun is ALWAYS to bright, pictures comes out way too overcast and harsh. Everyone looks squinting without sunglasses outside.
Hot humidity, sweating bullets of drops down your legs , armpits off and back.
Plus you got to deal with the fact that people down here aren’t use to see people walking around taking random pictures with cameras.
This is the reason why there’s no culture of street photography in Miami.
The place is just not suitable. The sun is too harsh on everything, this ain’t London or New York located at high latitudes where the sun isn’t that strong plus they have milder weather and big buildings which produces shadows everywhere.
And the people are used to see photographers on the street.
You try that in Miami and you get robbed , dehydrated and with a bunch of not interesting and unflattering photos.
