I 💜 the Carpenters !! I think Karen was soo naturally talented. Her death was very tragic to the music world. I have to just remember her as beautiful, talented, intelligent, loving, genuine and a superstar. I do think Karen deserved more from the people around her. She seemed to totally back up Richard when he was getting help. Someone should have fought harder for Karen and 100% had her back. Karen accomplished so much in her short life but can’t help to wonder how much more she would have done. Thank you Karen for all your beautiful songs and sharing them with us!! 💜💜 I think you know how much you are missed!! 💜💜
I fully agree. As another fan totally enamored with Karen's voice and emotions, I find it incredulous how few seemed to give a damn about Karen the woman. We know her Mom was all about controlling her money. Richard was so work driven it drove him to rehab. And Karen was so deprived of warm personal relationships she became either a target notch for someone's gun handle or a target for scammers like her "husband". She was a meal ticket for many. My focus is her father. Where was he? What kind of dad would let this happen to his daughter, especially after all she did for the family? I don't care how old she is, my daughter will always be my concern, daddy's little girl. Obviously he didn't see her this way and stood aside.
When I want some comfort or uplifting time karen carpenter is where I go unequalled talent who blessed our hearts and ears thank you Karen ❤️ ♥️❤️♥️♥️❤️❤️♥️.
The first time I heard this song was in a taxi at 3 am sending my friend (girl) home. That moment sitting in the taxi with her enjoying this song, Karen's voice makes all the differences. Thanks you for bringing back those lovely memories.
i recently watched the movie the karen carpenter story....... co produced by her brother richard...it's a wonderful and movie film .rest in peace karen.the world is a sadder place without your beauty and talnt sweet lady
