It’s time to say goodbye to Ocho Rios and ‪@WhoIsHerby‬ and head to a new part of the island I’ve been hearing so much about. In this video i will show you how you can take the Knutsford Express, Jamaica’s comfortable and affordable bus transportation. We will be leaving from Drexel Station In Ocho Rios and arriving in Port Antonio which is apart of Portland Parish. I must say after waking up the next morning i think I’ve arrived in The Best parish In Jamaica! It was a very easy going bus ride with about 2-3 stops along the way dropping folks off. Once arriving in port Antonio i got a taxi which charged about $20USD to take me to my accommodation (air b n b link down below i am not affiliated or sponsored). My check in process was easy and after some rest i think it’s time we explore port Antonio! Would you take the Knutsford express ?

U ain't been to the real jamaica yet. Go to places where they don't have any beach, just regular people living their lifes if u want to see real jamaica. Go to Mandeville, where no tourist goes. Not because it's dangerous just that no beaches for you to enjoy.

Ackee and salt fish has an acquired taste. I hate when Jamaicans tell people to try it as if it has a normal taste. Even Jamaicans either hate it or love it. Ackee is a very unique food. It tastes like nothing we are used to eating. When you recommend it to people, you should let them know that they may have to acquire the taste to truly savor it.

I was unaware of these places that’s why i need my fellow Jamaica or travelers who have traveled Jamaica to tell me where to go and what to do. @@PoJoTheBackPacker I did mention Somerset falls to you before I think. That lady was still extraordinarily nice picking you up as a female I would not do it. Culturally, black people don't pick up hitchhikers, and Jamaicans are the same that's more a white girl thing, hence the Italian girl who picked up you guys in Ochi. not to make it about race. Plus there is the whole crime issue in JM people are very distrustful of others. I would say it is the American accent, the glasses and you are handsome so that helps but still it's a risk. Jamaicans are very hospitable to tourists. If you visit the English-speaking Eastern Caribbean islands you won't receive the same level of hospitality that you receive in JM. We are very welcoming to tourists/ foreigners but tourists are important to most Caribbean economies.
