Welcome everyone to beautiful KINGSTON, JAMAICA! I had dreams of coming here but never thought i would complete it off my bucket list so soon. From loud dancehall music to the smell of jerk in the air down to the busy hustle and bustle this right here is “the real Jamaica”. Kingston for me was very interesting as there is so much history around the entire city. I had the pleasure of meeting up with another TH-camr known as @blessupjess and she helped guide me through the busy streets of Kingston. We have a pretty eventful day and i was grateful she took the time out to show me around since she has been in Jamaica for three months. From the busy markets downtown all the way to Devon house in uptown, come with me on a full day exploring the capital city of Jamaica!

Jo this is such an amazing vlog once again. I feel very privileged to have shared the experience with you! 🥹 You did such an amazing job capturing Kingston in all of its essence, both downtown and uptown! Loving your vlogs and can’t wait to link up with you again in the future!
Don’t toast the spice bun…lol Eat it with some a slice of Jamaican cheese and a glass of Serge Island milk😂
I see why Jamaicans feel so at home in Accra, Ghana ... the looks, sounds and vibes are very similar! Wow
Big Up Bless Jess. She’s really immersed herself in Jamaican culture. I’ve been following her for a while on her channel. She’s completely at home in Jamaica
For patties you stay clear of Mother’s. You either get tastee, juici or if you wanna go overboard you go to the Devon House bakery they’re pretty expensive compared to the others
That bun is an everyday thing. It is usually eaten with cheese. Cut it down the middle, insert the cheese to make a sandwich, now its called bun and cheese. Jamaicans hv for lunch or a snack to hold u until u get something more filling. Also, it's 1 of the most favoured thing many children have for lunch at school, washed down with a pepsi, bigga or a cran wata. HOWEVER, Easter bun has tuns of dried fruits(eg.raisins, cherry, etc.) in it. It's is a little sweeter, taste a tiny bit different from spice bun and usually a loaf as big as a loaf of bread. It is made/ produced & sold only during the Easter season, also eaten with cheese or fried fish during that time.
Kingston full a vibes!!!
Welcome to my beautiful Island Jamaica 🇯🇲 😍 Jo! I'm born Jamaican but living in NYC,🇺🇸...Glad you're having a great exploration of Jamaica 🇯🇲 the land we all 💘 love. My favorite ice cream from Devon House was the rum and raisen flavor

Jo, you're are now a certified Jamaican.❤❤❤
I love Kingston! It is a very underrated city! Also go to the Cafe Blue in Manor Park. The best neighborhoods in Jamaica are near there. Places like Norbrook and Cherry Gardens are nearby.
Bless Up Jess is AMAZING! Thanks Jess for showing him around!😊
You are in the heart of Jamaica Dude! Madness! You are near Half way Tree and not far from the Harbour! You have to go to Port Royal the original Capital which sunk! It’s true the heart of 🇯🇲 Jamaica is Kingston so much culture! It’s were everything happens!
Bless up jess and po' jo mad respect for you both one love ❤️ guy's
Jess is absolutely fabulous and so knowledgeable of Kingston
Spice Bun is really a snack. Bun with Cheese. They eat it much at Easter time just like Americans eat Turkey Thanksgiving but turkey can be cooked and eaten anytime. Try the Cornmeal Porridge I love it. Wow! They eat the Cornmeal in DR too. Dominica Republic.
Those two on the sound system are always there I’ve seen them once! Madness
I do not do this often, but I’m recommending that you try the soursop. Soursop is a superfood that rich in many nutrients including antioxidants. It does have an acquired taste so I’d start with the juice. 😉
