My guess at the beginning of the video is that it's the shaft. It wobbled by itself in the primary check. The butt seem to run true on the lathe as well.
I have an EK4! I've had it since new. I picked it up at a tournament at a McDermott booth for a great price. They said it was a factory second, but both myself and the girl running the booth couldn't find any defect at all. Still in mint condition!
Question, I have a retired 5k series predator cue that is slightly warped underneath the pin. I’ve talked to a few cue makers and they said they can’t fix it… I love this cue and I’d really like to get fixed to play with again. Is this something you can fix?
It is very hard to straighten a warped forearm. Unfortunately I would probably have to turn that down as well. Only way is with a jig, which I don’t have.

Or if You can point Me in the right direction on someone that You may know of that is just as talented as You are in restorations. It would be greatly appreciated...Thank in Advanced...😇

Good guess, but it was actually the joint faces. I squared them up and the twig rolled great!
McDermott did apply clear over joint and but cap. I have a ek 5 i bought new around 1992

I have an ek5 mint condition beautiful cue 2 shafts 1never used....19oz. Bought new in early95. Ek1 on the one have 7-800I'd say.

I have a Cuesmith mid size I use the most. I have a cuesmith deluxe and a mid America work station with a Cuesmith inlay machine attached to it
