My lifelong journey through the pool world. Has taken me from being ranked third in the nation during juniors. To winning tiger nine ball events and cashing in pro tour events. As I’m getting back into playing competitively I’m going to start using this channel for my cue making, table work and pool instruction.
Who can relate? Lol #billiards #pool #funny

Golf tees work as well for fixing holes.
100%!
Bro my cushions are original monarchs. What’s the secret sauce??? I’m restoring a 61 GC1.
Best thing to do it adjusting the subrail to correctly accommodate the k55. But I high end k55 will play pretty well without adjusting the subrail. Key is measuring cushion height beforehand
Gorgeous!
Thanks!
What lathe is that?
I have a Cuesmith mid size I use the most. I have a cuesmith deluxe and a mid America work station with a Cuesmith inlay machine attached to it
I just saw your review. How well or not does it stand up unsupported? My last 4×8 oval was good, I would still be using it but it and all the cues were stolen. Thanks for answering.
It’s doesn’t stand on its own very well. Thanks for watching!
Disappointing. Thanks for answering
Heh heh heh he said Butt Face
its this cue have low deflection and what tip should i choose between how titan or whats your recomend ?
It’s lower deflection than a standard cue. But not as low deflection as good carbons or kielwoods. (I make both lol) also I recommend a KO brothers soft tip currently
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654What carbon can you recommend on the same price range? Thank you.
Dr. Billiards ball cleaner. It's about $800, but it is fast (2 minutes) and does an amazing job. I use one a lot. All 16 balls at a time.
Use it on 6 sets of balls once a week
Nice! I’ll check it out
Nice old cue. I am still playing with my E-K5 I purchased in the early 90's.
Nice! This video made me realize how many are still rocking this series!
Here’s how to replace cushions! th-cam.com/video/T5WRV__Vt2Y/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ixev-S5_IBIYfSpa
Great video very informative I have a question related to non-gold Crown tables how do you determine the proper angle to cut the rubber at the pocket
It won’t let me post a picture here. But if you google how to measure billiard cushion profiles. Then go to images, there’s on that shows the measurements on all sides. Great resource! If you can’t find it find me on facebook
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 I was referring to the angle at the facing to the pocket.
I’ll measure mine and get back to you!
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 I know gold crown side pockets are 107.5 and corners are 142 degrees. Im wondering how to determine the angle on all tables prior to cutting the rubber
11.75 is too thin, maybe on a 7 ft bar table
They make these with a 12.75mm option
LOVE THAT POOLCASE IS THAT MINT OR VELVET 🤔🤔
I’ll have to watch the video again lol
Chris Pratt? I need me a Star Lord custom now!
lol, I actually get that a lot but only on TH-cam for some reason 😂
How can I order a machine thru your channel
Thanks! All you have to do is use my code at checkout! Code for 5% off is : DanMulhollen
My guess at the beginning of the video is that it's the shaft. It wobbled by itself in the primary check. The butt seem to run true on the lathe as well.
Good guess, but it was actually the joint faces. I squared them up and the twig rolled great!
where is the rap
It has a beautiful piece of birdseye maple for the handle. Wrapless design
- Want a soft case or a hard case? - Both!!! Man this one looks like just the type I need, soft on the insides, good cushioning plus hard shell exterior! great buy, thanks for sharing in a review!
Nice!
Why do the balls jump when i hit the rails after replacing the bumpers?
Either someone installed the incorrect cushion profile. Or they installed the correct cushion profile but did not install it correctly.
What kind of paint did you use?
I show it in the one video. Pretty sure it was a gloss enamel
What cue tips do you like or recommend?
There’s a few great ones, Kamui super soft brown, KO brothers soft, Caiden medium or HOW medium are all good options. It’s a personal thing when picking favorites
My wife just bought me a 61 Gold crown 1. This gets me excited to see how mines gonna turn out.
Awesome! They’re beautiful tables!
Turns out it needs new cushions, new ball return system and Ofcourse tournament grade felt and balls. Lol. Gonna cost me a lot to make it right.
I could save you some money on cloth, cushions and pocket facings. At least 10-20% less than online
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 how about a ball return system? I had thought about trying to build one on my own with pvc. However I’m all ears at this point. I’m not a rich man and have a budget. But I’m dying to play on my first pool table that is mine. lol.
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 and yes I’d like to get a quote on prices. Thank you so much.

Hello, I have A Pool Stick I would like restored I'm not sure if You do restores for just Yourself or not...If so can I have A form of contact to get that started some how because I really like Your work from the video content You have provided...I had to subscribe for More content due to its extremely rewarding and calming to look at the Restored Beauty of Your restoration Gift You have...Really Clean and Professional looking restores in My Opinion...I can send Pictures or whatever You need of the current state of My Pool Stick...I recently have gotten diagnosed with A rare stage 4 incurable Cancer and to restore this Pool stick that I have had for about 15 to 20 years now is on My list of things to get done. Or if You can point Me in the right direction on someone that You may know of that is just as talented as You are in restorations. It would be greatly appreciated...Thank in Advanced...😇
Hello would you be able to reach out on Facebook?
Trying to decide on dimmable or non dimmable, I've got a 9ft table and was wandering if I need dimmable, is the light too bright wide open, just wandering if dimmable is even necessary, thanks
I personally think the dimmable is not needed. But if there’s a tv in the room and you’d have the light on for non pool related reasons. Dimmable is nice!
I was given a gold crown #1, I had it dismantled eventually I sold it do to not having room for it, I still have the accessories like the wall mount for the sticks, brush and original balls
To bad you didn’t get to use the table, but at least you still have some cool accessories
@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 even today I still don't have room for it lol, table was huge but cool it had the return ball system and also had the plastic skirts that go underneath the table
If your business is geared towards cue repair then getting the wrap magic by atlas could seem justified. But if your just a hobby guy or diy, not sure if anyone is gonna spend the $625 for something like that.
It’s a side business that’s does rather well. I’ve already easily paid for the wrap magic. This cue was sold for $750 with one of my M-Core Carbon shafts and an 8” carbon extension. Thankfully I’m gaining some traction with my shafts being reviewed very well. I also have a 1.5 year wait on cues right now.
Que belleza
Thank you!
Everything anyone likes about this case is because of my work and my designs. You get the look without the actual protection. th-cam.com/video/yok93vS8NGI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=5C-tPtbBKaHOf-xK
hi, can u give a heads up about this cuetec compared to fury cw series or konllen dragon series? cause they have similar price point
I have not used either of the other two. I’ll see if I can get my hands on them!
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 yes cause they are an asian market brand, overall how the cue holdin up? does it hits more like a cf shaft or a wooden shaft?
How to buy
If you’d want a cue the best way to get in touch is on Facebook or email. Let me know if you’d want my info
Thank you Chris Pratt
lol I get that on here a lot.
How much your lathe sir?
I have three ranging from $2,000-$2,500
@@mulhollenbilliardschannel654 very expensive for a lathe 🥲🥲🥲
If you just want a good small lathe for simple repairs. Mid American lathes sells one for $795
Mine are all cue building lathes
Nice and congrats!
Thanks!
Do u spray the steel joint
No, I undercut the rings and just polish the joint
I'm confused. Is this a wood cue? Or graphite? Or what am I looking at. I want a step up from beginners' cue. I played with it just once. I assumed it was a wood cue. Can you explain this like you are speaking to a 5 yr old?
This series is all fiberglass actually
Price for carbon shaft plz
Thank for reaching out! They’re $345 shipped

Nice table. Is that simonis 760 or 860? And, I saw a video of u playing at railhouse billards (where is that btw) and they said you quit playing 12 years ago and started again. I too quit competitive pool but it was 31 years ago when I was 23. I was a 135 USPPA handicap then and seriously started playing again 9 months ago. I’m going to refelt my table to 760 to get it fast the 860 is fussy & it’s upstairs so the 760 will do better with humidity. I’m Gonna tighten down my pockets to 4.25” too and practice hard another few months with the new setup then hit some tournaments. I feel like I’m already playing better now than 31 years ago and now 54. Cheers.
It is 860 and Railhouse is in portage Pa. Amazing place.
U bought a piece of junk. I feel bad for u. Hopefully the seller told u of all the problems before buying.
Unfortunately he did not, but he did refund me half my money. But watch part 2, cue turned out amazingly
