It's a great feeling playing with a cue you made yourself. I once spent 6 months making a snooker cue (clearly had no idea what I was doing as it took me so long). I messed up the last 5 minute step twice. The second time was unfixable. After another 6 months of being depressed wasting my time on that cue, I got motivated and made a new one in only a month this time. It was 10x better than the first one and now I use it every time I play. It's made me appreciate videos like this because I know how much work goes onto it. Good job. Looks amazing.
Love the Poolhall Junkies shot. I'll be buying one of your cues one of these days. I can't wait to play with one of your cues. You do some excellent work!
Kick ass!!! But would love to see one with wrap an a stainless steel joint an maybe even some points ( white) with a wood shaft, maybe in a blue color. Because ur work is Beautiful an, I am seriously thinking of buying one, it would be cool to see it being made before my eyes!!
Flame cue. Dark red, dark orange, dark gold, all metallic with Sycamore as your base wood. Oh, and a drunken pool cue would be awesome. One made like the drunken cutting boards and rolling pins, but a pool cue handle instead.
Hi, you got me on the idea to also start making cues. i made a pessure chamber from Stainless steel and made a master cue. from that i made a solikone mold. now i trun wooden raw pieces to the right size, make some grooves into them and put them into the mold. i need very little epoxy and have way less work after demolding. also i made a cuemill and it works great. the joints i make on my metal lathe. i trun the hole exactly to the joint pin and then lgue it in, form there i also, as you do, start milling and grinding. Also what i do is i make a 300mm deep M12 thread into the wooden core, for weight adjustment. works great. i guess i will have to make a video soon :-)
It's the GO Customs Carbon Fiber shaft model 1. This model isn't made anymore. Google for GO Customs. The shaft is made by Goran Kobas from The Netherlands. The revisions of this shaft are even more awsome and don't have this pattern on it,
@@thugstation it is a cool pattern. How do you turn down the butt to match the shaft in diameter is there a standard template or measurements or trial and error until you get it right?
Wow, that's pretty cool! Great work. I've just visited your website, I'm in England but would seriously love one of those. Might have to save a few pennies first though!!
Just noticed this video very cool in the design process but I had an idea of you haven’t tried before what if you were to use the edges you cut off the blanks from previous builds to make a whole new build in a blanks from the corners off old builds with an epoxy mix as an idea but cool video none the less
Man that is awesome...wish i could get you to build me a cue...i shoot APA and would love to show that off! That high pearl siver and blue would make an awesome looking cue as well
I like the looks of that CF shaft, i never seen one with squares like that, i love the squares, how does it deflection compared to revo and cuetec and jacoby black shafts?
It is a Go-Custom First Gen shaft they have since moved to ones that look like the revo and actually have a better hit and not a tingy noise like the revo it is definitely on the lower side of deflection and it completely customizable from joint, weight, ferrule color and tip size....and it is slightly cheaper than the revo and it is a full pro taper like the cynergy...
I loved the looks of your carbon fiber cue, what would a cue like this be worth? and finally I think pearl blue and black would make a great color combination
SWEET....very nice indeed. Question: using a three-finger glove, does that help you with the cue stick? Me new to playing pool. Watching lots of TH-cam videos. lol toodles debs from Texas
These are some of the most awesome looking pool cues I've ever seen. The epoxy wood mixtures look amazing
i don't know why i watch this video over and over again... and again.... all i can feel after watch this video is HAPPY.

With the colored epoxy an wood the designs are limitless !!!!!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful man, nothing like a custom cue..

Amazing workmanship and beautiful artwork 😍
Hey, great post, instead of a shop towel, try plastic parts bag with the ca. The kind you get with anything bought online. Works great with plastics.
You did a good job making the pool cue well done it's really cool
Great looking cue, and good ideas discussed. I also liked your use of "chatoyancy". My vocabulary is not bad, but I'll admit I had to look that up.
Welp. I've been inspired to reoutfit my lathe...Great work!
I'd let you make me a English pool cue any day of the week, nice work !
That cue is stunning
Thank you

Daniel Barros say it louder for the people in back
Hell,

Its butiful as hell !
Ocean blue with silver smoke and a wrap would be cool
Beautiful cue! You should have your brand on your cues man. Very nice.
Thank you
Wow didnt think these would be so calming
I have the same shaft LOVE IT
dude,sharp lookin cue..great job...now make me a cue,lol
Would like to see you roll that cue across the table looked pretty wobbly on the lathe
What brand carbon fiber shaft did you use and where did you get it? It has a cool pattern on it.

I would like this!!!! Love the wood with carbon fiber. Let me know how much you would charge.
Tree fity

Absolutely stunning! Generally what do you charge for a butt construction?
snooker , what a loving game...
Great video something I'd like to learn how to do one day
Great job !!!!!!
Instead off wood I think pine cones centered around the dowel with a fog looking epoxy would look beautiful
Man that is awesome...wish i could get you to build me a cue...i shoot APA and would love to show that off! That high pearl siver and blue would make an awesome looking cue as well
Incredible
I would love for one of your cues
Sick trick shor
Would it not be easier to make the mould boxing smaller as itll save alot of time on the lathe?
The mold has to be large enough for the wood and center dowel.
I like the looks of that CF shaft, i never seen one with squares like that, i love the squares, how does it deflection compared to revo and cuetec and jacoby black shafts?

That was the Gen one go customs shaft they have stopped making them now as far as the deflection is Was likely cost to the same just a different look
Bro can you just make more trickshots damn youre amazing😍❤
Can you add broken glass into the mix?
IT IS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great vid man I love playing pool!!!!!! Was wondering if you sell\make pool cues for customers? I would love to buy one. Hope to hear from you soon
They run bout tree fidy
Great job
Love ur billiards though
Very cool looking cue. Almost wanna ask if you'd build one for me
I would love one off that cue her in South africa
Do you put the tape on the top all the way across to stop the wood from floating or just in a few spots?
Mainly in just the problem areas where the wood tries to float up
I loved the looks of your carbon fiber cue, what would a cue like this be worth? and finally I think pearl blue and black would make a great color combination

Just hepls with how consistently the cue slides on your hand
How much? I'll pay for a cue of this sort.. Very VERYY well crafted! You should auction it off
well done
That was beautiful fella. Any advice on a good lathe to make cues?
