      Just ordered mine because this is exactly what I thought. I wanted a black tele style but I wanted a tremolo bridge with it. I was going to to sacrifice wanting that bridge and get an ESP but then found this.

      My thoughts exactly, bought a player series about a year ago (made some vintage upgrades) and fell in love with the T style after playing a G LP for over a decade and immediately thought what if this could roar like the LP and shred like a Jackson and voila!

    So other than the JP15, I haven't wanted a guitar so much as I want this one. As soon as I saw the neck, headstock and finish I immidiately checked Zzounds to see if they carried it. For about a week now it's been a struggle not to order it but I seriousely need to chill on all the gear especially during all the unknown qualities of post Covid Impact.

    08/29/2021: 8 Questions: (1) Is the whammy bar pop-in & pop-out, or just screw-in bar? (2) When switching to single coils, does the volume drop a lot? (3) Is the fretboard separate wood or all part of the neck wood? (4) Does the back have a belly cut? (5) Is there a hand comfort cut for the neck joint area? (6) With split single coils can you get a really good Telecaster Twang sound? (7) Does it need a battery for pickups? (8) I never had a guitar with a battery for pickups. Awesome playing Cameron!!! You could play a shoe box guitar or make a toy ukulele sound bad ass!!!! 🙂🙂🙂🙂 I think the guitar is ugly!!! I like telecaster guitars with humbucking pick ups!!! Its my favorite combo!!!! I just don't like body contours on a telecaster body style!!!! A telecaster should look like and feel like a telecaster!!!! L.O.L.!!!! With straight edges and be clucky and bulky!!! With no sticking belly contour in the back!!! And I don't like the reverse style head stock!!! Plus. I like glossy type finishes on the guitar!!! Other wise you might as well play a stratocaster!!!!🙂☺🤓😊🤠 Oh well to each his/her own. I own a Schecter PT standard telecaster guitar and a Squire John 5 telecaster guitar and love playing both guitars!!! They suit my needs perfectly!☺😊😀😃 I enjoy watching your channel Cameron!!!! 👍

      I'm not sure, but if you have to route anything out, I would simply leave the old Fishman fluences in there and save the hassle. Especially if you're swapping out fluences for more fluences. All I can suggest googling the dimensions for the Townsend set and the Fluence modern set in the SC2

      I own one and IMO the switch between humbucker voicings is more like switching seamlessly between a vintage low-output PAF set and then a higher output DiMarzio Evolution set. It's amazing. The single coil setting also sounds authentic as heck! Not like traditional "coil-split" humbuckers.

    • @t3hgir
      @t3hgir 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The Fishmans are really dynamic compared to most active pickups but I find they have such clarity that it sounds like a pre-recorded guitar part. This is cool but sometimes I prefer the classic sound of passive DiMarzios for example.
