Carolina didnt play super inspired hockey. their special teams looked flat, and they couldn't get flow in the offensive zone when needed. Sure, they out shot the rangers, but the Rangers scoring opportunities in this and other games were superior imo. Still a young team so plenty of time to build off this season and improve.

Thanks, and honestly I thought we could handle Boston (not easy as they have a few fearsome game-changer individuals which the Canes lack) but was happy we got the Canes cuz I thought they were way overrated. I think our Rangers even overrated them as well. The Rangers have some awesome talent spread out all over the place with that third line of kids just getting their mojo.

In playoff hockey, a team will only go as far as its goaltender will take them. The team who has the goalie with the hot hand is usually the team to beat. The Igor we expected to see in net was exactly what we got in this series. I don't think I have seen him as relaxed in any game as he was in game 7 tonight. Calm, cool and collected. Never got rattled. I like our chances against Tampa. LGR!!!

People forget the rangers were basically a .500 team the past 5-6 years. If you told me before the start of the season that the rangers would be in a position to win the metro or make the cup, I would’ve bet a lot of money against you lol Being one of the youngest teams in the league (I think we avg being 26-27 years old), we exceeded all expectations. Gallant and Drury deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve done with the coaching, development and off-season/deadline moves. The vatrano and Copp deals look to be the smartest of the deadline and who the hell would’ve thought that lol the team will need to tighten up against Tampa. Our game plan relies so much on Shesty, I’m praying our defense can make it easier for him but we HAVE to win face offs. We are one of the worst in the league lol the difference maker this upcoming series will 100% be special teams. PP needs to stay hot and our key PK guys need to stay healthy. Constantly outshooting your opponents does nothing if you can't put the puck in the net. Rangers were more efficient. Canes are absolutely incabable of going for a scoring race with anyone. There must have been 12 people on the Carolina bench that were focused on Jarvis after he finally crawled his way back to the bench and collapsed on the floor. The concern that play and its aftermath sent throughout the Carolina lineup was impactful.

How do you sort out their number 1 goalie from an injury? Raanta did a stand-up job. He's always been a premiere back-up. He was awesome when he was with our Rangers. No team can can have two world-class goalies. The moment the number two guy rises he's gone the next year as he becomes unaffordable.

People forget the rangers were basically a .500 team the past 5-6 years. If you told me before the start of the season that the rangers would be in a position to win the metro or make the cup, I would’ve bet a lot of money against you lol Being one of the youngest teams in the league (I think we avg being 26-27 years old), we exceeded all expectations. Gallant and Drury deserve a lot of credit for what they’ve done with the coaching, development and off-season/deadline moves. The vatrano and Copp deals look to be the smartest of the deadline and who the hell would’ve thought that lol the team will need to tighten up against Tampa. Our game plan relies so much on Shesty, I’m praying our defense can make it easier for him but we HAVE to win face offs. We are one of the worst in the league lol the difference maker this upcoming series will 100% be special teams. PP needs to stay hot and our key PK guys need to stay healthy. Best of luck to the remaining teams but with that being said, Let’s Go Rangers!

Constantly outshooting your opponents does nothing if you can't put the puck in the net. Rangers were more efficient. Canes are absolutely incabable of going for a scoring race with anyone. I am a Canes fan, and I admit it was not the performance I was hoping for. That said, the hockey gods decide winners and losers long before the puck drop so no point second guessing them. The god's ultimate goal may be for the Bolts to utterly humiliate the Rags in the next round, and a Canes loss was necessary to set that up. It is what it is..

The Rags as you call them just whupped the Canes in the last two games.. the results were never really in doubt in both games 6 and 7 .
They may not beat the Bolts but they wont fold so easily like the Canes did

There must have been 12 people on the Carolina bench that were focused on Jarvis after he finally crawled his way back to the bench and collapsed on the floor. Полицаи показывают рвение к кубку, в последний момент переворачивая игру в свою сторону, а у Тампы есть намерение 3й раз чашку забрать, но опять же, это не короткий сезон (как предыдущие два) именно поэтому игра будет очень интересной, волнительной, напряжённой и не простой :) как мне кажется

How do you sort out their number 1 goalie from an injury? Raanta did a stand-up job. He's always been a premiere back-up. He was awesome when he was with our Rangers. No team can can have two world-class goalies. The moment the number two guy rises he's gone the next year as he becomes unaffordable.
