The dragon people here are called dragonkin and are visually different from d&d dragonborn enough that this isn't an issue. Even the dragon creatures in the Frontier are created by me and dont relate to d&d at all. They are meant to be for any fantasy rpg :)

Appreciate it. But all good. I go through about 10kg PLA and 3-5 litres of resin a month printing for games club and YT channel. Really looking forward to planning a Dragonborn arc in one of my campaigns thanks to these minis. Also gives me an excuse to design some Dragonborn buildings in Townbuilder.

Runequest RPG has some really massive Dragons. 'True Dragons' are generally several miles in length. Krisa Yor, the Red Dragon is 4.5 miles long! True Dragons' dreams are called 'Dream Dragons' Dream Dragons are usually closer in scale to Smaug from The Hobbit, or the Dragons from Game of Thrones.

What I found ironic when looking into dragon lore is that the game of thrones dragons are not dragons but are in fact Wyverns. Only two legs. Dragons have six limbs, four legs and two wings.
They did this to Smaug in between hobbit one and hobbit 2! He lost a set of limbs in the theatrical cut
Having bought a 3D printer last year, Id love to see a video on how you guys use a slicing program and basic fiddling you can do to get a decent printed mini out of them.
Every video I watch of you guys printing minis, they look so cool and I'm like 'I wish I knew how to properly set up and tweek my printer so I could buy the STLs and print these.'

Some dragons have wings, some do not.
Some have four legs and wings, some have two legs and wings, some have no legs and no wings.
I think one of the more underrated draconic creatures in fantasy is the linnorm/lindwurm. Imagine a wingless snake with a pair of front legs.

On Sale, its hard to beat an anycubic Mono X on a budget. But they arent without faults
@@TabletopTime I got a Mono 4K while they were on sale. The print bed size is a bit limiting and I have a bit of a weird issue with printing round bases, though that might be a setting issue.
I love this channel cause all the cool techniques you learn from it but Hate this channel cause I don't have the friend group to actually apply them for physical minis (The DND group I do in person games with doesn't really like minis all that much for some bizarre reason).
That is absolutely blasphemy. Immersion is so important for these games. Having to stop and ask a dm how far you are away from anything is the opposite of immersive!
@@TableFlipFoundry I kinda get it, most of the people in the group came from lower income families so minis weren't really in the budget for em. Also, they think I'm psycho for painting minis.

Until WOTC backs-down and commit to the eternal legitimacy of the OGL 1.0a, or until a judge rules the same and forces WOTC to continue to abide by its 23 year promise, I will not give them a single penny more of my money on any product or service they offer, no matter how shiny, new and appealing. And I have spent hundreds, if not thousands of pounds on official WOTC product. I encourage EVERYONE to do likewise.

Small nitpick but Dragonborn in D&D canonically don't have tails so the minis you made by the D&D lore would be half-dragons instead, but minis are cool, and the paint job on them is great too
Some have tails! But you're right. I named these dragonkin since I threw my own flair into them. I dont think dragonborn have horns like these guys either. The good thing is that both horns and tail can be removed easily :)
