I would just stay with the 7, the 6 being too tight might have them be overall too tight where you can’t stretch them out enough. Is there a way to try on? Because she’ll be able to judge if the fur tamping down would help them loosen up

I've had 2 surgeries on my left foot, and it's a little misshapen now. it makes shoes feel more tight, so I get 2 sizes up to accommodate for that. I usually wear a 7, and now I get shoes in a 9. I don't know why, but even the length is different. the right foot is fine, but left isn't. it's not that big of a deal, but it's just a little weird. either way, I love my uggs.

I related way too much to when you said you’re almost 30 and need arch support lol. I’m also 27 and I just wore my Tasman slippers to the mall where I walked for 4 hours and my feet were SO tired! Uggs are comfy but they are much less comfortable than going around the mall in proper sneakers.

I’m a 9.5 and I first got the womens 10 and it was way too big. I now have the mens 8 and my heel pops out a little but not as much. I find it more so when I wear regular socks so have been wearing thick socks. I don’t want to size down again though because with regular socks my foot is perfect minus the slight heel pop out. But they are a slip on slipper so I guess that’s how it’s supposed to be ?

I would caution with these that if they are too small your feet will be uncomfy BUT if they are too big your feet could end up just sliding right out of them 🥴 can you try them on IRL? If not I think either way would fit and maybe stretch (if you go smaller) but it’s a massive maybe and would depend on your comfort level

Hey! I addressed this in my 1 year update ahah! But a lot of people have been saying if you are narrow feet and are a half size to size down and if you have wide feet and are a half size to size up! I hope this helps!

I ordered a pair and it’s hard to get in with socks and the back of my ankle slips out. Will they stretch out or do you recommend sizing up? ( I feel like if I size up my foot will slip out even more ?)
Mine don’t really slip out but I do feel the back moving for sure. I do find my socks create some friction which helps keep my foot in place a bit better than bare foot in them
The slipping can depend on your foot shape as well. There is always going to be some slipping because it's doesn't have a ton of ankle support. If you want no slipping the ultra minis are similar but don't have the low low low back
I was shown a video of an investigation PETA did on Ugg where they were found to be actually torturing the sheep that they skin to make these slippers. I love them so much but I just cannot buy them in good conscious. No judgment to those that do but personally I can’t and I’ve been trying to find vegan options that have a similar look. If you find any please make a video!!!
UGG has a "vegan" sister company, but the trouble with vegan products is they are usually made out of plastics which are Oil by-products which don't decompose and are super environmentally challenging to extract, refine and ship :( There's not many "good" solutions unfortunately because either there is an animal cost or we are adding more plastic into our environment.
The comments have been suggesting to size down if you have more narrow feet and size up if you have wider feet. I would recommend sizing up always because blisters lol
I would size up to the 7 just so your feet are comfy! Some people have them get a bit looser as the shearling tamps down but it’s never been a massive difference in my experience! My Uggs from middle school - which are still alive like 15 yrs later lol are an 8 and don’t feel any looser than my new size 8s!
