Great mastery over the different moods and characters. Not to mention the amazing phrasing and voicings all throughout. Schumman would be proud. Love it!
Amazing touch, wonderful performance. I think there is a playful tongue in cheek element in Schumann's papillons. He was definitively having fun composing this. We tend to be blown away by the poetry of this composition , by the way this is a beautiful matching piece for the lovely month of June, and we play it a little bit too delicately when the spirit of the piece is more of a child's joy at play. Especially the ending should not build too much tension but more like the child falling asleep after playing a lot.
Dear Denis In many videos you mentioned your piano course for beginners but I cannot find it on TH-cam. I would like to pay/join and enrol. I am university Professor, researcher and just started piano. With hectic lifestyle (10 PhD students, international travel, mega projects}, i want to also do something I love 🎹. The only way I can fit lectures in my schedule is online. Please let me know how to access your beginner course. Dana
Hi Dana, That’s impressive that you still have energy for playing piano despite such an intensive life! Great job! All my courses are on Teachable, you probably meant this course for late beginners level: pianoskillsandmagic.teachable.com/p/a-late-beginner-s-massive-bundle
@@DenZhdanovPianist I only saw your reply now, sorry for the delay. The course looks amazing but I am still on five woodpeckers and twinkle ⭐️ level. I can take the course you recommended but as academic myself, I want to start from zero level to make sure I set the right foundation. It looks so professionally done, thanks for the link😀
@@DenZhdanovPianist I just enrolled! I will have to finish Hoffman early beginner’s course, all 80 lectures, before I am ready for your course. But I will work on your arpeggios lesson every day because it feels so good! Thanks from Dana Stanley

Denis! Love Papillons! You can see Schumann intelecto in this piece.
Wonderful playing! Thank you! I had to experience myself that they sound easy but are not at all...
As in England, they say, "Brilliant."
