Very nice car you have there, I also have a 2010 Acura TL SH-AWD 6MT I am from California and when I bought my car there was only 3 for sale in the USA so I was lucky. Mine is black with black interior and also came with the premium OEM 19 inch wheels which is very rare to find in this car. And since mine is black I painted the front grill, rear trunk grill and also the tail lights black and it looks a lot better
I had a 2012 TL sh-awd and after about a year i sold it for a 2014 TL sh-awd Elite package in the same umber interior as yours. The elite was made only for Canada so its a rare TL. Couldn't be happier with it! New exhaust, third cat delete and it makes a nice pop if i want it to. By far my favorite car ive owned, next being a 2005 CTS-V
@@DawnDimension it's got headlight washers too. Look it up. Awesome video btw, loved your Darth Vader force to open the hood and detailed review of the caf

Great review! I own the same model and you're right about this car a bit too quiet .I tried replacing the air intake to a k&n drop in filter and it made a difference. A year later I switched to a&f dynamic (cheaper than Takeda)air intake and what a difference! This car is so much fun to drive, yeah a bit heavy but solid power and handling. 6spd manual TL's are extremely rare here in 🇨🇦 .
@DC2k4 not at all! These 4g TL has a built in cold air intake that you see right next to the fog light. The best upgrade for is a k&N drop in air filter.
@@AcuraPerformance Great thanks for replying lol. I’m thinking of getting a 2013 6spd one that’s near me. Have you seen any mpg increases? If not, what mpg are you averaging especially in the city since I’ll be driving mostly in the city…
@DC2k4 np lol, you better grab that 6spd asap if it's in good shape. They're very hard to find. These cars are about 3900 lbs so gas mileage is not so great. Whether it's auto or manual it's a great luxury sports sedan.
@@AcuraPerformance Very true. That’s why I’m very willing to get it since its very rare, if it’s very well taken care of, overtime the value will rise because there is no longer production of manual gearboxes so there can be a possible resell value with big profit lol
Actually the 3.7 engine was offered on the sh awd automatic man, I should knkw since I have one 😆. It's a very good car all around, I really wanted the 6 speed however they are so dificult to find. Mine is also the tech package and again is a gem, best of luck man👍

This video is great! Your car is gorgeous man. Have you experienced the oil consumption problem? I'm looking to buy one with a 6mt do you think 140k Miles is to much?
At 95k I haven't noticed a detectable amount of oil burned. I would say it's not quite Honda-Civic -reliable but if it seems in good shape it should have a good amount of life left in it at 140k. Plus, it's super rare to find one, so if it's something you want I'd get it
@@DawnDimension No kidding you have gotten yourself a UNICORN! I actually saw your car for sale on car gurus a few months back. Haha if you ever want to sell it, I'm willing to make the drive from Illinois
I have an 05 6MT with almost 240k. I’m going to keep that on the road as long as I can and then piss my wife off when I tell her I want another manual..
There was one for 12k. Being young and not having good credit the rate brought the car up to almost double the price. For a 72k mile 2010 6mt, was that price worth it?
bruh, the car has a beak. it looks ridiculous. butt ugly. having said that, I totally want one (mostly because they seem easier to find than a manual G37 in my area). any oil burning issues with yours? I wonder if this is not as common of a problem as many people on the internet claim.
Highly reliable vehicle but its a pig to drive - handling is horrible. These are not driver centric cars. They are built for soccer moms. In 15 years of owning Acuras they all fall very short to the germans.
Dawn Dimension I have owned Acura Legend and two Acura TL - the latest TL is a 2012 - super reliable. Owned several E39 and up bimmers then I felt like they became so popular so I got the Audi S4 2013. If you love driving as most car enthusiast do, Acura’s are just painful to deal with. They are reliable but will bore you to death. German cars are not as reliable but my God when they are running it’s puts a smile on your face everytime. Audi S4 Burnt a little more oil than usual but the reward was well worth it. As for BMW if you love working with you hands and researching on the web when issues come up - even that is very rewarding...
