SRX Oil Change! Super Easy Cadillac!

  • I show you the simple way to change the oil in a Cadillac SRX. I show a step-by-step guide so you can DIY this and save yourself some money! The total job took about 20 mins.
    1) Drive your car up onto the ramps
    2) Remove the cap for the oil cap
    3) Place your oil pan underneath the car
    4) Remove the drain plug
    5) Remove the old oil filter
    6) Replace the oil filter
    7) Replace the oil plug
    8) Add the 5 quarts of 5W-30 oil to the car
    9) Drive away in your beautiful car

    Ford oil filter in a Caddy haha. No harm in it, but it's the first time I've never seen that! Wix is my go to, but Motorcraft is good too.

    The Fram Oil Filter I bought has only the internal filter not the metal ‘can’ that surrounds it. Never seen this before but that’s the way it’s sold.
    Many mechanics here on youtube recommend you NOT use Seafoam in automobiles as it’s designed for outboard motors.
