Observation. It’s about bringing the light of awareness into the darkness. Observe the darkness. Bring the light of awareness without judgment. Then there is no darkness
That’s a powerful insight! By bringing awareness to darkness without judgment, we transform our perception and understanding. This practice allows us to illuminate negativity and foster healing, creating space for growth and light.
I didnt really meditate ,i tried for many years to no avail.Praying is the same i went into a state of repentance for 2 /3 years ,then one day i felt the need to meditate ,it felt beautiful, then i felt sensations working up my body to my navel ,chest then throat and finally the light burst from my head ,prayer is as powerful. My life is balancing out after 15 months 🙏
I went through emotional numbness earlier this year and it sucked so bad. I felt like a ghost/robot. Its true, what you said about Connecting with your heart to get out of it. Its what i did and now i feel a lot better
@Awakeningwisdom3 I meditate for about 30min-1hr a day and i do meditate before sleep because my mind is always racing, but it happened because I lost my identity of myself trying to unidentify with my emotions. I understood them too well or something and didn't react to any of them. I had a self-realization that I was only reflecting people's and environmental emotions. My emotions wasn't coming from within. I thought back to past moments where I was and the people around me and found it to be true. I felt so hollow. Meditating helped me connect with my heart again. Now I know the difference between mine, others, and my environment. I'm happy that this all happened though. I have a better understanding of myself because of it. Everything does really happen for a reason
Very interesting , it's good to know the other side of meditation. I've always had vivid dreams and this makes sense. I find that when I engage in deep meditation, etx I can't rest properly. I can see her point😊
I'm guessing it's effects arw different for everyone. For me, it's made me less influenced by outside circumstances. I did go through the dark night of the soul not long after I first started. I think it may do more harm than good for those who are not yet ready.
Are there physical harm we can do when focusing our energy in certain area's of the brain..??? Please tell me if you are aware of this phenomenon please..❤️🌍
Focusing energy on specific brain areas can enhance learning and promote neuroplasticity. However, excessive concentration may lead to cognitive fatigue, stress, and physical strain, potentially causing headaches and anxiety. Maintaining a balance with breaks, relaxation techniques, and physical activity is essential to prevent negative effects on mental and physical health.
Yes it's true. Back in 2016, I was a volunteer at a retreat in Ecuador. For me was amazing and very challenging but I came out beinf a different person for good, but there was this ex Jehova Witness girl that had a horrific experience. She was out of control, yelling and screaming, the shamans didn't know what to do, she ended up leaving. Another man that seemed calm and quiet lost it bad! All of this while being under the influence of ayahuasca. So yes it can be dangerous @Awakeningwisdom3
Have you seen any negative effects of meditation? Please share you experience with us 🙏🏻

Wow, I thought meditation is supposed to be all healthy and have positive effects on those who practice it.
anything can be harmful if it goes out of balance
I met a girl once who became bipolar after a 7 day meditation retreat
Apparently
Retreats can be harmful if the attendant does not have any experience beforehand
