What happens after your body dies, can you still transcend? If you never reach this pass, can you transcend, or your spirit remains traped in phisical world forever? yes for anyone interested further I highly recommend Neville Goddard's teachings also. The central figure in scripture is the christ or you in your "awakened" state. The awakened state is knowing that we as a unity created this experience, fell asleep in it, to then awaken from the dream of playing a character. We shouldn't try to limit the Divine with our beliefs. Try to believe that the Divine has got a unique way of revelling Themselves for every single person. If you go to the 10th chapter of St. John verse 30 there is a passage where Jesus says "I and the Father are one". There are some people who are not intimate disciples of his and they're horrified and they immediately pick up the stones to stone him. He says: 'Many good works I have shown you from the Father and for which of these do you want to stone me"? And they said: "For good works we stone you not, but for blasphemy", because you, being a man, make yourself a God." And he replied: "Is it not written in your law I have said you are Gods?" He is quoting 82nd Psalm. "I have said you are Gods." "If God called then those to whom he gave his words, gods, (and you can't deny the scriptures), how can you say I blaspheme, because I said I am a son (inner life, spirit) of God"?
There it is, the whole thing in the nut shell. So, it seems perfectly plain that Jesus got in the back of his mind that this is not something peculiar and exclusive to himself but it exists IN YOU TOO. The divine in the creature by virtue which we are sons of (inner life-spirit) or of the God manifestations of the divine. That's how death is eradicated for there is no death for the divine spirit, and this must be understood and for us to see who we really are.

Youre negating all history about Jesus because one passage in the Bible says he went to Egypt to escape persecution…once again, these systems of meditation are originally aquired from meditation and prayer.
