I’ve been on off drunk since 2021, it took till age 40 to cause a problem but it came as a surprise. It came with other demons of ocd, bulimia etc. I have been sinfully drunk on many occasions and I thank God He gave me so many chances. I have no excuse, thanks to God for keeping me alive and repenting. I won’t condemn anyone who drinks irresponsibly but hope they get help before something tragic happens.

i’m 27. i’ve never drank alcohol but i have an addiction to food that involves restricting myself from eating. i believe an eating disorder is like alcoholism. i’ve had an ED since 14 and only have had a 2 year period of being “sober” while in nursing school. i pray to one day break free from my addiction. i would say anything can be used as a vessel to lowering consciousness and polluting the human spirit.
