The young folks today don’t have that thought but I don’t blame them as much as their parents. Go to a T ball, or Little League game today and watch and listen to the parents. As they say, we are a product of our environment good or bad.
Terry, it blows my mind what parents do at their kid's games. They think it's helping their kids and the team, but we know it hurts them. How many times have I read that a parent attacked the umpire and beat them up, or went after one of the kids. It sucks so badly, that there is a sign on the local little field by me that reads something like. Hey parents, no one is getting a scholarship today. There won't be any major league scouts. It is only a game, let the kids enjoy it, and you sit back and cheer, not jeer."
