I was watching a documentary that had some hauntingly beautiful Arabic music in the background & wondered how to get that sound on guitar.
20 seconds later, here I am...
    I love the Internet.
    ps: great tutorial.. much appreciated.

Its basically a 3-3-2 rhythm. So it would be like P-i-m-P-i-m-P-i
(Thumb index middle finger on the right hand) with the melody being played by the thumb.

i'm very glad i found your channel. You are going to take my fingerpicking to the next level. Love your compositions too! My favorite is probably "Flow". It somehow reminds me of Captain Beefheart - Hair Pie Bake Two.
If you need me I'll be practicing ;)

+antigen4 Murat explains this in an earlier post.
"Its basically a 3-3-2 rhythm. So it would be like P-i-m-P-i-m-P-i

7 years later, if by any chance you get to see this: you have to look for fingerstyle guitar, especially right hand patterns. once you nail down some of them, you can do the one shown on the video, it just takes some time to get used to the idea.

    Hello!
Could you explain how to play the parts from 1:46 with the right hand? I mean fingerpicking. Also is it possible to do it with a pick? If so could you explain it?

can you point me to the scales/ modes you're using?

  • @MuratKMusic

And I guess you could do it with a pick but it would have to be really fast.

Arabic music is much more advanced.
You are giving wrong information about Arabic music.
