- Hey guys, this was a popular request to showcase all the dragons haha. My PSN exploded last night asking for this. I chased down the last 4 dragons and made this in time. Gonna go finish 2 and upload that :)

Wow, so far, none of these dragons are female
Nestor: Looks like a wood or stone worker, has a very responsible and competent look which fits his advice of 'Find Dragons first.'
Tomas: Very tall and thin dragon with clothes that look like a traveler which fits his 'Falling from high mountain peaks, plummeting into prehistoric glaciers bit' ultimately making him a traveling bard hence the guitar.
Delbin: Big and Gruff but his clothes aren't excessively flashy rather very plain and humble which fits his advice of 'Do you know why your dragonfly is with you?' the fact he has a painting makes him a painter but what type I don't know.
Argus: A rather chunky dragon however the way he hold himself and speaks shows he's a very important figure who decides when one is ready to move on. Which fits his advice, not sure what the melon is about but perhaps he is a model for art.
Lindar: mentioned in another video, but he has watches which fits his advice about saving, as he's keeping track of or 'saving' time. Watch maker.
Astor: also mentioned in another video, Astor is an older more wizened dragon who would forget certain key facts but would love telling stories even if he is the only who seems to like them which fits why he says 'Vortex thingamajigger' instead of gate portal.
A story teller.
Gildas: Has great big wings ones that look more suited to gliding than actually flying even though he is capable of doing so. Fitting his advice on gliding. Possibly paints while gliding.
Gavin: Is big and strong looking fits his little quote of 'He stays strong like me!' he works as a barista possibly.
Alban: Has a mystic, somewhat self important look which fits his attitude of 'They don't bother me' however is possibly more hands on due to his advice. A scroll writer/writer.
Oswin: Looks and acts like merchant one who holds onto 'trade secrets' as to why he says 'Wanna know a secret' he could be a merchant or a librarian.
Darius: A broadway actor with Shakespeare elements flaming skull goes with his advice of flaming certain enemies. Also he is quite large himself with a great big belly.
Nils: A very tall thin dragon with a long neck that grants him a very good view of his surroundings which fits his advice of getting a good view. A stone crafter.
Devilin: Big chunky dragon with a cake to express his thanks for Spyro repeats advice about gliding, a jolly individual. A baker or cake baker.
Alvar: a rather hot headed dragon who is quick to temper but is short of breath possibly due to working constantly to feed the others since he's a cook. His red skin also promotes his 'hot headedness.'
Thor: elderly dragon that is possibly nearsighted with the glasses considering how he holds the jug it seems he's had trouble by dropping pots, is a potter.
Thor is a potter, actually. The white stuff on his apron and arms are hardened clay, and the pictures at the end show him making pots with Spyro.

I like how Nestor's new appearance actually made him look like a leader among dragons. In the original, there was nothing about him that made him stand out among everyone else you rescued, but here, you can definitely see him as someone the other dragons follow.

I LOVE the Dragons' new redesigns! Not only did the animators keep the Dragons' original colors from the first game, but they also gave each of them different body types, wings and tails, horns...PLUS tools and clothing!
They've been given thier own personalities and a type of job, like Gavin, who's a COFFEE BARISTA! How many dragons like Gavin are designed to look like a coffee shop barista?! ^^ He should be the unofficial mascot for StarBucks!Anyways, I should also point out that some of the dragons have either feathered wings or tails, like the Prehistoric dinosaurs that flew, while others have crystals for wings, giving it a kind of crystal Steampunk theme!
yea you are right. These designs look pretty fantastic. I just watched a video comparing them to original versions and these ones look awesome!

So much unique animation.... so much unique dragon models... How did they manage making this and the other two all in one without driving themselves insane?
(And yes, it's clear many of them are tweeked versions of other ones, but it's a huge step up from the original, and those crocodile dragons! Mmmmmmmm!)

I just have to gush about these designs. Back then the dragons just shared generic models but now each have so much personality to them! You can tell each apart and how seriously they take their jobs. One’s a Minstrel, ones an elderly bombardier who’s clearly seen his share of action, ones a straight up beatnik, Nestor actually looks like a leader this time. They’re even different species! Bravo Toys For Bob! BRAVO!

Personally I think Lindar is Spyro’s father. They have identical tail ends and are very similar in a appearance too. Also the way he speaks to Spyro, sounds like a father or parent: “Not that you’d run into any trouble, Spyro.”

I don’t like how they all walk on two legs now, at least there were some four legged ones before, Spyro feels kind of weird as the only four legged one.
haha some do go on all fours at times but yea they are 2 legged
i guess since spyro is still a young dragon compared to the others..he would be on until he get's older and walks upright on his hind legs like the dragon elders

Sorry to disappoint you all, but there was only male dragons to rescue in Spyro 1.
This is how it was in the original Spyro game, they just didn't look as masculine because PS1 graphics.
It wasn't about being straight or gay or whatever the hell the propaganda is nowadays.
These were essentially Spyro's mentors at the time, and they didn't want to do the whole 'damsel in distress' scenario.
So like, don't get your panties in a wad over the gender of dragons in a >> children's game

if i remember correctly, argus in the artisan lands has two lines: one if you havent gone through any land, and second for once you have. i think that if you step on the stone and press "replay dragon" it will come out. might wanna add it in, if you're able
how come your dragon counter only gets to 70? did you somehow miss saving 10 dragons, but got their cut-scenes anyway?

This is gonna sound weird but I didn't enjoy rescuing baby dragons in 3 -- since I had... AHEM
played Enter the Dragonfly before 3
so it just brought back bad memories. It would've been nicer if it had been a mixture of baby, teenage and adult dragons to rescue with both males and females available. But eh, I have no complaints otherwise. These games are looking AMAZING remastered.

The dragonfly giving dragon their was stupid since no other dragon had them and the third tell us that just by the dragon be there brought magic to the worlds oh and in the the first game it said that he allows Spyro to take extra hits also it would be impossible for them to kidnap Teenage dragon since their teen and would been able to defend them I mean look at Spyro the dragon egg had no way to defend themselves and collecting the dragon egg isn't nearly as impossible as collecting dragon fly

I like seeing all of the variants with their animations and I have been looking everywhere for it on youtube but no one has bothered with the original or reignited for them like the spyro 1 dragons.
