- Hey guys, I managed to beat spyro 2. Pretty late now and my laptop is rendering the 5 hour walkthrough haha. Should be uploaded within a couple hours. But for now a little tease of Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage with the 3 main boss fights in the game and the ending :)
To me Gulp was the hardest. I died several times haha

I know this is late guys, but spyro 2 took me a lot longer than i thought. Also had some family and school stuff to take care haha. Enjoy the fights. It was a colorful spectacle :)

Only problem i had with the oldnspyro games was that the villians where practically only minor threats not cataatrophic
Spyro games were meant to be wacky, quirky and lighthearted
Ripto will always return
Especially in GBA and Enter the Dragonfly
i always wanted to know how did gulp has those weapons on his back, i thought this game would add a touch on this on how he got them
How did you get to play it so early? it’s not out until tomorrow were I’m from but they let me do the day 1 patch today so I can go right ahead and play it
Cool Crush, Big eating Gulp, and Angry Ripto is Awsome (and Enter the Dragonfly also need to be remake)
Only good games that became famous deserves a remake, not this shit

playing 3 now. Hoping to get all bosses video by tomorrow afternoon and the full walkthrough up by tomorrow evening. bear with me a little haha. Wasn't expecting the games to be so much fun. I mostly just wandered around and collected stuff and lost track of time ....

i cant help it, but when i see and hear ripto, i am reminded of Kaos from skylanders
In the Gulp battle, those cannon blasts look so much more easier to dodge. In the original, they gave off a small shockwave as they hit the ground.
they still do give small shockwaves but i think they toned it down
And here I am. tough if Charge, Nova, and puch/shotgun in the face can solve everything. Specialy when it came to boss fight even some time it never work with only one cicle
The 2nd boss fight was hard when I play spyro 2 again il be careful and smart 👏👏👍
When I saw how he died it was painful
Is it just me or was the voice acting in the original a little better?
man i totally forgot that hunter was pretty useless until the final hour
I never got why Gulp was the second boss, he seemd more stupid then Crush, though I guess cruss was just a lizard caveman.
Gulp is way harder hence why he's second haha
Sadly I used to have the game But now I lost the disk
Gulp was the second hardest boss, while Ripto is VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE!!! With poor camera controls, even his most basic attacks are rocket science to dodge! Even if you know it's there (and moved out of the way), it's SO needlessly hard to not get hit by them! Every time you get an orb and try to recover your health, you'll always set yourself up to be vulnerable by any of his attacks! (with a 3-hit health bar no less) And it's REALLY idiotic for Hunter to drop Orbs near Ripto so he can pick them up! And I thought he's supposed to be helping you! Ripto has 3 phases. If you beat the first 2 by some God-given miracle, they don't compare to the third phase! Here, his projectiles are IMPOSSIBLE to dodge no matter what! What were they thinking?!
That and if you die no matter what stage of this crappy fight against Ripto you're in, you'll always start the first stage over again! And there are times when autosave is a bad idea compared to standard save. It's not worth wasting more than enough lives to truly beat him!
Is there no epilogue scenes in the guidebook?

What happened whit the battle of gult?!, in the old game he can use the pterodon's items drop to, makes the battle hard, intense and funny.Now is just like the battle whit crush, easy and predictible 😧
You've not played it yourself, I assume. I assure you, it's the same as the original, if not even a little harder. Gulp seems much more aggressive in the new one, and goes for chickens much more often. From what I can tell, the only boss they actually nerfed was Spike from Spyro 3.
yea gulp was by far the hardest boss for me in the trilogy, he is super aggressive
Screw that gulp fight took 20 minutes to beat

Yes you actually saw him burning alive on fire and twitching as he died in the original.
Well, in the original game when you complete the game at 100% and get every skill points, you find out that Ripto didn't die. Same in Spyro 3.
Gale Pire ripto isnt Dead in spyro 2 he return in setd
So? I'll take this over his lame static death in the original, plus it keeps the death ambiguous in case they want to bring him back in a new game
