Hey Paul, is this a kind of chord/melody rip of Sunscream Pressure? again the first few bars sounds like its very similar sounding to your rendition to my ears. Excellent stuff as always.

It's similar as it uses the same mode (Dorian). It is probably the most common mode used in house music as it gives you a minor 1 chord to a major 4 chord which is the "house" sound. You're learning

@SagesOfSound it is the mode that pretty much all Chicago house tracks were written in. Dorian is just a major scale with a flattened 3rd and 7th note which gives a minor 1 chord to a major 5 chord. That is the Chicago sound apart from "Move your body" by Marshall Jefferson which uses a natural minor.
