She one of the most crooked police chief in america. She ain't want to make arizona better. Anyone watcher can clearly see how uncomfortable she felt with all the questions. Mesa pd has the most tyrants working in that department, worse part is those officers knows that they have their entire police force, judges, jury to back them up. They have gotten away with shooting unarmed teens point blank in the head and literally gets away with it.
Untill a new police chief which has more morals, then I personally feel sorry for those living in Arizona's residence.

Thank you so much for shedding light on this important issue! Here are my thoughts: Unfortunately, Jeanna is most likely going to have to move out of Arizona (if she hasn’t already.) The police department has a commodity that is diluted in corruption, discreet, and manipulation, and unfortunately, many people in law enforcement - especially in Phoenix - will most likely find her address/employer and stalk her, harass her, and retaliate against her. It is absolutely heartbreaking that she was sexually assaulted by a police officer who is sworn to protect, then dismissed by his superiors when she reports it, then is re-traumatized by having to share in detail about her abuse, only to lose the court case and told that she has to pay the legal fees for Phoenix PD, despite not all of the evidence being presented to the jury. A lot of the time, the judges are in on the corruption as well, and have close ties to law enforcement. So the rabbit hole of corruption runs deep! All of the law enforcement that were a part of the corruption, should be ashamed of themselves, and they need to be held accountable.
Additionally, I found Jeri Williams’ commentary throughout this entire special to be disgraceful and despicable. As a Black woman, who I‘m sure dealt with racism and misogyny throughout her career in law enforcement, you’d think that she would’ve called a spade, a spade. You would think that Jeri would have been an advocate for Jeanna, and the other women who were victimized by officers under her watch, and would have been honest about her compliance about looking the other way. There is a rape culture in law enforcement. There is corruption and dishonesty. Those are undeniable facts. The victim who was raped by Armour at that party was forced to change her report, because they would have made her life a living hell, and tarnished her career in the process. It does send a negative message, and she failed to even address the questions. The entire time, she talked in circles - it was so frustrating. She constantly tried to play this “Kumbaya - we take all allegations of sexual assault seriously 🙄” ... when clearly, that isn’t true. Jeri has no integrity, in my opinion.

What people outside AZ don’t understand, is that the reason that AZ LE officers are so over zealous and aggressive is because the local and state politicians have nothing else to run on other than how tough they are on crime and illegal immigration. They intentionally train and hire LE to act like SS officers, and Gestapo because the arrest numbers are what keeps their bosses in office. AZ politicians don’t give a damn about how many millions of tax payer funds they pay out in settlements and lawsuits (Maricopa county alone has paid out over 55 million in settlements) because it isn’t coming out of their pocket and they continue to get elected based on arrests and their stance on crime. Rather than just waste millions in federal money investigating these departments like the FBI and DOJ have done over the last 15 years…congress should just cut all federal LE funding for the state and let the voters there pay for their own LE with increased property taxes. That’s the only way that this will ever change in AZ

She doesn't get to say "former officer" because he was an officer when he committed these crimes. If the janitor did it they wouldn't refer to him as the former janitor. PS. The reporter shouldn't let her get away with it. He should refer to the piggy as, "then police officer" so and so.

What a POS, his pension should be garnished. Better yet lock him up, block his pension & sue the city

That's a darn shame, treating people like their nothing let alone women. The man used his badge to impose his will on a defenseless vulnerable woman to satisfy his perverted urges and achieve gratification. If not now ought to be ashamed of himself. SHAME ON YOU!

Good for her appealing! This guy needs to be stripped of his 'disability' and his pension, and then put in prison. That judge here is obviously in their pocket, so he can become the cops roomie in prison, see how he likes him then. Disgusting.

Could you imagine the rest of us at our jobs if we did even remotely anything like what these officers get away with on a daily basis?
