Get a needle treading tool. I can’t live without mine. I have one stashed all over the house. Walmart has a 3 in one. It does sewing machine and regular needle in 2 sizes.

It get stuck like tha because you’re putting your ribbon n tulle to close to the edge trying to get it close to the end as possible I know but that’s what always makes it jam then the back stitch it’ll do it errtime u have to move it pass that seeing bottom teeth lone then start to sew
Also I told the tulle see down a small side and then pin my ribbon inside the tulle add elastic pull and I’m done I can’t keep it straight ENUFF to do the way you’re going it
