- Hey guys this video will go over the process of adding ribbon to both sides of the tulle, creating a double ruffle sock. I WAS NOT AWARE THAT SOME PARTS I WAS OUT OF THE FRAME SO I DO APOLOGIZE. If you need better view on how to hold the sock please check out the first ruffle sock tutorial.

Igiann Olivera yes Igiann please stay positive, I think we all get frustrated especially trying to get it on the socks but with a couple weeks practice you’ll have it down. I’m going to do a sock less tutorial for a alternative

Hello, I know this about the sock but this is a perfect example of what I need help with. You see how on the tutu you have the silver and the green color. I was asked to do a tutu but the top layer has black ribbon at the edge of the green how would I do that . Would it be the same way you did the 2 colors on the sock less ruffles?

If you use organza tulle it will hold better on the socks and last longer for your customers
denise newton thanks I’ve tried organza and I don’t like the outcome, I use 100% polyester tulle and i have customer whose had their socks over a year with no issue. However I will mention in next video for people who may want to try thanks so much for the recommendation
@@reneesway7064 my customer are having me reuse the same tulle and ribbon on a new sock of a different size for that child without the tool tearing up and it cost them far less money for me to replace the ribbon and tulle onto a new socks that way I can keep my customer to keep coming back

Hello Renee! Thank you for the tutorial. :). I was wondering if you recommend the tulle that has glitter or sparkle? I saw it but I was worried that glitter stuff might get in my machine. Have you tried it. I rubbed it with my hands and it seems like there is no fall out though. Tia! lol I’m glad to hear that isn’t your seeing table! Was a little worried about that. 😁
Hey Rita I haven’t tried the glitter tulle for socks but have used for other projects and it does tend to shed a lot, however the sparkle may work better 💕
I’ve sewn w glitter tulle without issues. I bought a cheap roll from Walmart I barely had any glitter come off none of which I found within my machine
