Plug a palette+ into a ridiculously cheap printer like a Tronxy X1 and show off what it can do. I'd love to see that.

It is interesting that just doing the multi color printing with a stock i3 and their app it just squiggest out a few inches to purge to the next color and both the MMkit and the palette require such large blocks to change. Seems like you could add in a whipe feature of some sort to do the inch or so purge of the multi color function and wipe that tangle off on something as it heads back to the print.

Can the purge block be turned off completely? For some prints and color combinations it would actually look fine transitioning from one color to another.

They released Chroma version 3 which now lets you choose how to use the purge material. As infill is now an option that means a ton less wasted filament so I'm very tempted to pull the trigger. Wish they would have an updated review on this with the new software.

I know this video is a bit old, but it was still very useful since very few people have a good one that shows the process of setting up and using the Palette+. My only complaint is that towards the end I wanted to choke any newcomer who asked or complained about the purge block.
