Stevie hosts with Shona and Kenny. Chat is dominated by Dave Kings comments as we discuss the latest. We preview Dundee and look forward to our return to Ibrox
You have all said your main issue with King is that he hasn't went in to any real detail with his claims and ambitions, which is fair. But on the other side, this current board have told us nothing for years. They have continously mismanaged us in every department since the summer of 2021. Even with King's limited detail, I'd take his ambition and ideas every day of the week compared to the direction we are currently heading in. And I think most fans feel the same.
I commented on Rangers Review this morning that surely Stevie with his official Rangers Press Pass could get an interview with Dave King. Add to that his status on Rangers Review, a channel that boasts two Journos who write for a prestigious Glasgow Broadsheet, and it's hard to imagine Mr King declining such a request.
I think shona is correct with building the stadium to match the income over the city but like when I was a kid the team that were losing had less bums on seats
They cut back on the disabled access due to costs and the shambles In getting that done how would we make ibrox bigger only thing I can see is fill two corners in then how does that affect away fans rangers have been mismanaged for years I've been a season ticket holder 40 yrs had a great seat and now my seat is restricted view with the new groundwork done 😮
Every fan wants what's best for the club. What that looks like right now will be a different vision with just about everyone you ask. IMO, since Dave King left the club, it has been badly managed in terms of both manager and player recruitment and capital expenditure. I'm not saying DK coming back is the right answer (who knows what that right answer is) but given the fact the club is well underfunded, DK at least talks a good game. I would have no issue letting him walk the walk.
The board failed to balance income investment with success on the park. I do think the club has never been stronger as far as income sources go. Now needs to be reflected on pitch. For gods sake play some Scots
Apparently this board guaranteed they had the finances to back the club going forward to King…they’ve failed in this with pissing the money down the drain imo. Good pod guys 👏🏻
Ermm.... so you think Douglas Park should remain? Based upon what evidence - is Douglas Park going to keep us toe to toe with Celtic (operationally) ? Bare in mind - celtic are pulling away - 30/40 million per year . Douglas Park has the capability/ nous/ business acumen - to keep up with that? Douglas Park? Key point - 1 title in 12 years. Progress? What Progress? What will the transfer budget be next summer - if celtic win the league? 1 in 1 out? Not working. Not going to work.

If you could get Dave King on the pod Stevie I think that would be brilliant.

A lot more to infrastructure than just adding some seats

They do. He doesn’t
Sorry Shona how is Clememt doing a 'very good' job ? we really are becoming a diddy club like Hearts or Aberdeen
You can't run a big famous club,on a budget...try and get investors, because this lot can't afford to run it.
