Moving Into Our Log Cabin | We've Worked Hard For This! SEASON FINALE
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 6 ก.พ. 2025
- Today is the dayyyyy. The day that we move into the cabin Levi and his Dad worked so hard on all summer. The cabin we could have never even dreamt up living in 2 years ago. Our cabin.
We still have plenty to put into place but are so excited about how far we have come. Up next will be our wood shed, Levi's work with the rental skidsteer and wrapping up the garden!
THANK YOU as always for watching. We have been able to grow quite the channel here and it has helped us so much with continuing this life. ❤️

Do not feel like you have to explain anything as trivial as not having a couch yet. You and your family are building a dream and dreams take time. The journey to a dream is just as important as achieving the dream. Thank you for taking us along on your journey.
Amen
Agree!
😊🎶🇺🇸
I have been married 37 years and have never bought a couch or had a new one. We have been given couches.
The “ if Henry will start pulling his weight around here” comments will always be the highlight of your videos for me, thank you!
I agree with you and feel that the material on your new sofa compliments your cabin in such a nice way. The carpet you selected goes well and will serve a comfortable purpose of keeping your feet warm after all of your hard work. Henry is learning how to keep himself entertained, which is a big plus for him and the two of you. Wishing you wonderful times in your new home. You both have worked so hard, and you must feel so proud.
an easy way to clean oven racks is to take a large garbage bag...place the racks into it and spray them heavily with an oven cleaner... fold the top of the bag closed and let set overnight. Rinse of with clear water... I use Easy Off cleaner.
WELCOME HOME!! May you all have wonderful memories in your lovely hand built cabin.
When your wood stove is on I always kept a big pot with a lid on it .that way always hot water to do dishes with etc. hot tea cocoa ..
I know it would be hard but what an awesome way to live. I envy your lifestyle. Cabin is so beautiful. Henry is so cute. God Bless you in your new home.
Your opening clips were beautiful, and the smoke coming from your cabin chimney was heartwarming! YES !! You Two & Levi's Dad have worked very hard to get to the this point in your new life in Alaska. It has been so nice to be a part of your adventure! Thank you for sharing~! 💚💫🌲
Yes weren’t they just stunning
Yes they are!
Your baby is so cute and he is always happy and smiling 😊
Such a good Baby. He is just going with the flow.
Not only is the cabin wonderful…the land is breathtaking!!!! ❤️
I love, love, love your cabin. I wish you all a beautiful long life together.
I love the pattern on the couch. So much nicer than a solid color.
I tell you, Henry will have stories to tell when you can understand him. He is a talker. Plus standing up on objects, he will be walking soon. Moving in is not exciting, but I am happy for you guys. Winter will be here before you know it. Keep up the good work.
Y’all are such wonderful people do not ever apologize for anything y’all have done or not done or do not have y’all are working hard to make a life for your family. And congratulations on your new home. It is absolutely beautiful ….. I love watching your videos. Keep up the good work. I will stay watching every video……Tiny ( Len Price ) Houston MS
I enjoy your videos and yes no hot water is not a deal breaker. I lived with no hot water tank for 8 years but with a wood stove you can always have hot water in a big canning pot on the stove. You just learn to make do and have a good attitude with a sense of humour which I see you have. Every time I saw that pot of free hot water it made me feel good. And an added bonus you can heat your dinner plates and coffee cup on the wood stove too.
What an exciting couple of days! So happy for your family. You worked hard this summer to obtain your goal of a house, but now you have a home! Congratulations 🎊
You all have the right temperament for this lifestyle. I can tell Becca, that you really love it.
Henry is so adorable, cute, and ‘helpful’! Such a happy video. Congrats on moving into your new home!❤
Would it not have been easier to load all your stuff in the back of the truck and back it up to the cabin door to unload. That was a lot of work girl. Love your videos and so happy you are in your home.
You will make so many wonderful memories in your new home! I loved hearing the happy baby coos and see the wagging tails. ❤ Congratulations!!
Great job, great home, great family ! Take Care.
Seeing your dog hop up on that chair, reminded me of my beautiful late dog I used to have. When my older dog sadly passed away the younger dog would feel safe sitting in our camping chair. She became so attached to them. When we used to take her to a dog kennel when we went on holidays, we had to bring her camping chair with her. We went through so many chairs as she used to break them, when she put all her weight on the arm chairs.
You forget how ‘helpful’ babies are. He’s funny ❤
Such a cozy cabin!! And I like the couch too🤣. Know you have projects still to do but it’s becoming a beautiful home. And Henry definitely approves
Congrats on move-in day. You guys are crushing it on the Alaskan homestead. I cannot believe you don’t have 100k subscribers!🎉
The cabin is beautiful ! So happy for your family ❤️
He’s such a good baby. Congratulations on your new home from West Virginia! This Granny is proud of you 2
How exciting! I love how eclectic everything is🤩
Henry is a lil cowboy bustin broncs on his Mom's back, lol😆
I'm proud of you and your sweet family🌻🐝
What a beautiful home you two have created. Absolutely stunning. You both have worked so hard. Gorgeous views. You are both very talented and hard working . Not easy doing it all while raising a baby . Well done 😊
Loving the dog getting right into the chair!
I'm really happy for y'all. Moving in is exciting and a lot of work. 🙂 I really love y'all's channel! Congratulations.
My cast iron pans instructions said to preheat pans for 5 minutes before cooking to prevent sticking. That has worked well for me. Your new house looks great!😊😊😊😊
I love your cabin! Love your couch! Your little boy is so precious. Glad I found you. Thank you.
When I watched my non stick frying pans disintegrate, so to speak, I switched to stainless steel. One ‘remedy’… helps a little bit… is to rub some cooking oil in it, before starting to heat up your butter for frying whatever.
You can use an Orange to remove the rust on your oven grills or ash from the fire. I hope you guys have an amazing time in your new home. So good to see you settling in.
Wow - it's beautiful. NEW SUBSCRIBER here. You were in my feed and couldn't believe the craftsmanship and why I'm new. I'll have to go back and watch the build. Congrats on the move-in. I can only imagine all you've gone thru to get there - AND with a little one on the way/here. Nice job you guys. You'll do just fine in Alaska. Just in time too!
Congratulations on Moving in ur Beautiful Home, love watching your Vlogs, Absolutely love your COUCH. The Cabin in looking so Cosy 🥰🥰🇬🇧🥰
BEAUTIFUL. I love the couch. It'll be so much fun moving in and once the shelves are up it'll help with the storage. So happy for you.
Perfect timing on it all❤❤❤
Congratulations on moving in your new home!! Henry is going to be walking soon. Growing up way too fast. Seems like yesterday you just had him.❤❤❤
Congratulations on your moving in.
Moving and renovation are tough enough separately... but you filmed both at same time! God bless!
Thank you so much! This is very kind. 🩷😊
You guys are so cute, perfect timing for building a cabin in Alaska while you're young...live your dream, living the journey is the fun part even though sometimes it doesn't feel like it! I'm really enjoying this "adventure" with you!
Great job Rebecca! Little Henry has gotten so big! Your video’s are wonderful 🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Idea- I remember having a gas stove growing up. I was the oldest sibling. We put masking tape over the stove burner knobs to keep toddlers and newly walking babies from accidentally turning them on. Just an idea. Congratulations on your new house. Take your time and do things on your own time frame. Gos bless!
Good idea, we have a gas stove and when our son was little we just pulled all the knobs off the front and kept them in a container on the back of the stove but our knobs wouldn't turn without the knob!!
Becca I love the colours of the couch. Perfect for the space and the design fits into the log cabin feel.
Outstanding Craftsman ship 👍!😇!😇!!😇
For some reason as I’m sitting here watching you cook your first meal in your beautiful cabin for some reason I’m just nervous and antsy and excited for you. I built my home about 18 years ago and I remember when we moved into it. It was so exciting. I’m so proud for y’all. Tiny ( Len Price ) Houston MS
The couch looks comfy & goes with the cabin style. Put a cozy blanket & a couple pillows on it, that match the color you like in the couch. Enjoy your new place & views!
I love Henry and he's got a really good mom and dad!
Beautiful cabin i love watching y'all very nice place!!!!!!!
Congratulations on moving into your beautiful home. It takes time to get settled in. You'll be changing things around before you find their perfect spot. Henry already loves his new home. I've been cooking with stainless steel for 50years now, always put some cooking oil in the pans. Love the couch colors and it is a perfect size. Thank you for sharing your lives with us.
Congratulations on moving in. I’m happy for y’all. Always look forward to y’all’s videos. Henry is growing like a weed.😊
Such an overwhelming but exciting feeling to finally move in after all these months. Ya all are doing amazing!
Congrats for moving in.. may all GOOD things come your way.
Suggestion: get some Car/truck mats for the cabin door.. (short run.. till next spring) ask your husband to build a rack for the boots/shoes placed by the front door.
Love watching you guys! Amazon sales a great ventless tankless camping hot water heater that works great. That what my wife and I use in our cabin!
That’s what I was thinking too electric doesn’t need to be vented
It takes a decent amount of time to get settled. It looks wonderful!😊
That is some beautiful land. Looks so pure and untouched.
And you have a very nice cabin, job well done
Henry will make a good sailor. He could sleep through the stormiest seas and still wake up fresh as a daisy.
You could strip down the camper so you can use the cabinets, the stereo, store the stove, use the microwave and everything else you can utilize and then turn the camper shell into a chicken coop. What do you think?
Found a channel I really like. Bless you and your family. Living life the way it's meant to be lived and raising your baby the right way. I commend you both for all your hard work. Your place is amazing. Sending my best from Arizona
Congratulations on new home. It’s beautiful and I know you’re happy. Henry is so vocal and cute. God bless and stay safe,
Welcome home!! Thanks for taking us along. God bless!
Henry is a great helper! Great job guys! It will all come together. Just keep pressing forward.😊
Nice guys!! You should hang your pots and pans above the stove area, you have the room, then put shelves above them! That would look amazing !
I love how low-key your life is that means you're living the life you wanted
Hi Becca, just a word of advice. Don't sweep towards your baby while he's on the floor. Put him in the play pen until your done so he's not breathing in all the dirt and dust. It's not good for his lungs and respiratory system being he's still little.
I was thinking the same thing
A little dirt ain’t never heard of baby makes him tough and builds character 😂 there ain’t no telling how much dirt I probably eat my life when I was a kid lol lol
@@lenprice6315you might not have been this far from a doctor or hospital either!! Common sense says don’t sweep dirt and dust into a baby’s face direction when they are on a floor!! Same reason we don’t smoke in the house where there are babies NOW!! Our parents did all that nasty crap when we were little. Most of it was not good and is no longer done…when people are with it.
@lenprice6315 don't be dumb! HES LITERALLY having Dust and who knows what chemicals from products swept around his face. He's a baby! His immune system is just developing. She was giving a young mother a great piece of advice. 🤦
Well it’s nice to see a happy wife, everything is just fine for her she knows it will all be better as time goes on. It’s a lovely cabin,I’m subscribing to see what else you do to it.👍🇬🇧
A great visit with you all. Thanks so much. Love your couch too . Love from Central Oklahoma.
you are blessed because you have the best companion God gave man! they came from the Pyrenees mtns , the offspring of royalty, to share their life with you so treat them well, you are amongst the privileged few!
Congratulations. It’s been a long time coming with lots of hard work. May you have many years making happy memories.
Awesome video thanks for sharing this beautiful place. ✨ ❤
Couch looks perfect in your beautiful home. Love it!
Guys I’ve watched this episode a few times now just really happy all the hard work has paid off.the cabin is lovely I hope you have a lovely winter in the new home. And I’m thinking cabin just in time for Henry to start walking ❤
Cabin looks so nice great view with pound congratulations you guys have came along ways , awesome success 🙏
Cograts, so excited for yall!
You both are young baby is young iam not should this is the way of life in alaska iam76 i lived in chester nj we had alot of snow it was hard to get around and cold weather as changed i had a horse we had a hard time getting to him but if you guys could dothis then its good for you wish you luck.
Your new house is great, in a beautiful setting as well. Off grid is a bit more work added but personally I think it’s worth it. In our off grid cabin we put giant pots of water on our wood burner in the winter and have more than enough hot water for our needs. No need to use propane to boil for 7 or 8 months in alaska
Henry is going to see these videos one day ..and realize his mom was the GOAT ! ❤. Your a boss with getting your moving done with Henry on your back helping ❤
Congratulations. Enjoy your little family and special times ahead.
Beautiful couch!! The colors match the kitchen!! It's looking great!!
you gonna need a middle support on your stairs before the stair treads break
Yayyyy- So Happy for you guys, it is Beautiful, and you worked so hard on.
🎉Congratulations 🎉 so excited for your family!!! Your place is amazing your views looking out your windows. You all have worked so very hard, I know you still have to get ready for winter. But your dream has come true!! ENJOY
Congrats a lot of hard work
You both work so hard. Congratulations on your new home. P.S. your son is adorable, a grandma aka Christine ❤
How exciting! The first night in your cabin will always be a special one.
So exciting! 😊
Henry is such a happy baby!❤
Congratulations. You must enjoy your home. Bless
NICE WORK DARLINGS......
I have just tuned in, from Ontario, Canada and I am so excited for you guys.
Rome wasn't built in a day so, don't put pressure on yourselves.
I love that to your family you have 2 dogs and a cat.
It doesn't get any better than that.
Enjoy each and every moment. I will be following you.
Stay well. Take time to chill. The moving things in place brings you closer to your dream.
Heather❤
Congratulations! Enjoy creating your life and celebrate all progress!
Food will stick to stainless steel especially meat. You have to add oil. Don't pry it loose; it will release itself but will leave brown bits stuck to the steel called fond. That is where the flavour is. To get it to release add vegetables or a liquid (such as making gravy). To clean the pan heat water in it stirring to release. Then wash with soap and water.
Hi becca the kitchen is looking amazing I bet your happy moving everything from the camper into the kitchen exciting I love the couch nice colour and the view from the widow wow makes it all so worth the hard work Henry getting ready to explore bless him 👋👋👋❤❤❤

Wow, what a great view from your window. Also, I really like your new couch and your rugs. It’s looking like someone is living in the cabin, and I know you and hubby are so glad to be in the cabin.
spray your oven racks with oven cleaner (a really good spraying) put in black garbage bag -spray somemore then close bag and let sit for a couple of days. all might not come off but most of it will and the rest will be easier to remove, works like a charm
I use metal shelves, on casters, from Origami, super strong and they fold flat . I love them. Love your little cabin ! Be safe and healthy.
Why wouldnt you clean before moving everything in....sweeping that dirt up in that baby's face...I just don't get it
