Maybe try a long handled felling lever for rolling out hung trees? Doesn't always work if it's really hung, but it's another weapon in your arsenal. Might also be handy for man-handling heavy logs on your milling rig. Heavy duty levers get a bit pricey but I have no doubt you have the skill to fabricate you own. Cheaper levers are generally money wasted as they are not robust enough to dig out tractors. Great content as always!

I'm envious of you right now Kris , I live in a one bedroom house with no garden , the lockdown is tough all I can do is take my dog for a little walk at night when no one is around.
Yours must be the best lockdown in the country , plenty of land that's yours to do whatever you want and have projects to keep you going.
I always appreciate your videos but even more so at the moment because it keeps me focused that one day I'm going to buy my own little plot of land and become a prepper then if this situation happens again I know I'll be ok and less restricted than I am at this moment in time, even getting groceries is scary , I have to wipe every item down with sanitizer wipes just to doubly make sure I'm safe and even then it's still a worry.
Just hope we can beat this virus sooner than later.

Have you looked at ordering some mushroom inoculation plugs? Why leave the stumps to slowly rot when you can inoculation them with a plug or two and have a source of mushrooms for a few years.
With the wind, solar and hydro setup would it be worth it to tap the second stream with the looks of hooking it to a car AC pump to get free heating and cooling out of the water? Hot and cold storage tanks to let you send coolant from the tanks to where you need the hot/cold coolant.

The only thing to consider is that the mycelium will kill the stump, so not good if you're coppicing. It doesn't sound like that's the case here though.

@@unhippy1 It's sound advice, as a tree surgeon of over 30 Yrs I've kept my comments to myself about Chris's chainsaw work. But safety around a chainsaw isn't something to be mocked.

Consider buying or creating a lav mic aka "lavelier". You can rip out the microphone from an old cell phone, a laptop, etc. Electroboom has a video on it with an amplifier circuit and the works. It would be a good investment and fix your rather variable volume issues. If you can figure out hydroelectric power distribution and all the rest of the stuff you have, I'm sure you could tackle a project like that in a few days. Worst case, just buy one I suppose.

    Get some proper ppe!!!!
Love what you do, but sort it out. Until you've had eye damage you don't realise how fragile they are.
    Stay safe👍

I’m sure that someone has asked this, but could you use the winch to pull the hung up tree down?

People should take notice....this is a guy who is not aware of ANYTHING that is going on in the world and he doesn't care!......He is in his own little world. Just IMAGINE, how you can be in this world too. End Times are amazing!
