this guy literally realized my childhood dream! I was in love with this car when I was growing up, I even had a model of it... then years later, I bought a white convertible of the same model, and it was a blast to drive. Still looks more beautiful than most of the contemporary designs for me...
Only 150 of these were delivered to Australia, I'm fortunate to own #142, in the same livery also, I love the car for all the same reasons - my hero car
Haha same with me, mine sat 11-12 years. Got it back on the road this year. Low km from not driving. Thought my Mass air flow messed up and was impossible to find one. Finally found one now I have two still didn’t work lol. Planned on upgrading ecu while back to tune around that part, turns out my ecu was fried this whole time.
'Mint Condition' is your preference, but you went with FMIC? The CS WTA flows quite well for the power you claim atm. Many just mod so the pump stays on all the time.
Very Swettisch accent där änna gubbar! Nice to see the CS ST185 still lives in some parts of Sweden. I'm the only one in VGR that drives a GT4 with CS upgraded parts. I should be on this show! ;D
I love this review on ST185 Carlos Sainz converted Rally edition car. But Lotus car should not be featured for the first 3 minutes 44 seconds as the Lotus is totally mismatched with the Video Title...
@@TunedIntoCars Hehehe, I mean, the video is just starting to develop its title (that amazing GTfour ST185) within 3:31 minutes. Before, people there are talking about something that has nothing to do with it...
Ya I don’t recall the Carlos Sainz limited edition RC having leather or left hand drive. I own one I did a lot of research on them. Not the greatest cars to get info for though, lots of sites say different things.

The title is not misleading at all. It promises a Celica GT4 and that's what you get. Plus an update on the Lotus (owned by the same guys that owns the Toyota), because older subscribers wanted an update on that car.
Dear, i have searched for :Carlos Sainz Celica" and YT brought me here, just it's annoying to see that ugly Lotus next to a legend, and also first 4 mins of the video is waste of time and not related with the video title as well.
@@TunedIntoCars wow such a suggestion! just add some not relevant content with video title, and after suggest people to not watch it. Here comes another failed youtuber!
@@38zubamba The previous video with that Lotus was one of my most watched videos. People asked for an update on the car and I did just that. In this video you got exactly what the title says and more.

I just bought a 1990 gt4 it's a beast, long live the old beauties
Did you buy it in the US?
Legend says it's impossible to obtain a stronger swedish accent than that of Tobias
I'm absolutely in love with the Alltrac / GT4. Amazing condition!
Absolutely incredible dude. I didn’t think they made the Carlos Sainz edition cars with leather seats and a sunroof.
That's a nice job maintaining and restoring a Toyota icon to road worthiness!
Beautiful. I still have my black 1992 GTS.
I own a gt four rc of 1991 and I tell you that it is a truly impressive car !! I wouldn't exchange it with any other car.
Me too same car same colour
Nice, I got one thems too. The best.
The exhaust note is on point!
Absolutely loving that Celica.. Great video, loving the Swenglish!

I have a white 92 Carlos sainz standing in my garage. I'm hopeing to get it on the road again soon. Its been standing for about 12-13 years.

Great job restoring it and increasing power. Awesome car!

Toyota should build this car today.
8:50 talking about the headroom, it's OK even with helmet once you get lower competition seats in it :)
Your channel is ace! Keep it up!
Im still remember the first time i was as a passenger in this model omg... was gorgeus and still it is
How many of them were made?
Very well kept nyc rallying icon u got there,😉😉st185 rc celica,3sgte👍👍
I also have one of these theyre great ive tried to keep mine original mine is an RC version same as grp A
Amazing car, but for suspension I should go for Ohlins Rally spec dampers. You live almost in the walhalla of damper engineering !
The Swenglish is Exceptional! ;)
LOL I just said the exact same thing when I sent over the video link to a Friend.

It's not mismatched. It's an update on a previous video we did together about his lotus

Very good car
the Carlos Sainz Edition does not have leather trim
Yes it does
In Oz it did I had one :)
I have one as well. Italian model. Has AC and ABS as well

The perfect road car😍. 18” wheels??? WTF?? DONT DO IT!! That’s just wrong! WRONG!
The actual wheels on this car are already not stock. My "Carlos Sainz" came with tiny 15 inch back in the 90s.
that is the toyota eliminated in 1995?
It's the model before ST185, banned GT4 was ST205
Why hide a Lotus video in a Celica video? Kinda misleading title man, sorry.

Can't have everything :)
I don't think so. The presenter is letting the 'article' speak for itself.
