what was so great about him? literally the first thing he said when he got on stage was "i hate these things" and he was so rude to the first guy who asked him about the robo walk. "well you're rude too" good for you man! don't take any shit from weller just because he's rich and famous! give it right back to him!

I love this! I saw Robocop when I was 5, still in my top 10 favorite movies! Love the Doctor. Trying to smarten up these people up, and they think its just a big joke lol smh.
25:00 "Screamers" (A fairly faithful adaptation of "The Second Variety" by PKD...the PKD story is excellent. The movie is only so-so...but Terminator more faithfully adapted the future scenes from it. James Cameron is the best thief ever.)

Weller is really affected with himself in his old age. He was such a prick to that scottish guy who asked him if he could still do the robocop walk.
He’s a well respected actor and a highly qualified Doctor in renaissance art. And the first two questions he gets are “Can you do the Robocop walk” and “What’s your favorite part of Robocop?” Seriously? That’s the best they could come up with? You’ve got an audience with Dr Weller and can ask him anything at all, and that’s the best they can come up with lol. I thought he handled those inane questions with grace and humor.

Sure they still return for these things and love their fans and what made them famous but their other projects sometimes get lost in the shuffle. Arnold is a mild exception as he has many recognizable characters but when you say Schwarzenegger, 98% of people you meet will say Terminator

@@bigjoe4372 If people don't think he's worth the money they won't book him. He might as well cash in on RoboCop hysteria rather than simply be annoyed by it. He's not supplying penicillin, if people don't want to pay they aren't losing anything serious.
RoboCop is one of my favorite movies but I would not wanna meet Peter Weller he's not nice to his fans.
I'd much rather meet Michael Keaton Batman is one of my other favorite movies.
@@WELCOME2PATSPLACEI saw him at a con a couple of years ago and he’s also kinda standoffish. Kept his shades on the entire time and you weren’t allowed to touch him or ask any questions etc.

I hate his "I'm doing this for you" attitude. Show a little gratitude that people still wanna talk about a 35 year old movie. He's more of a has been than David Hasselhoff but I bet if I met the Hoff he'd be nice and happy to talk about Knight Rider. Something about Weller's voice and attitude turns me off.

Peter Weller did LOTS of interviews about Robocop... What can he say more?? He dealt with prejudice backwards people, like you, for years and years. That asked boring stupid questions... Yeah! He does it for us!!! Because not only is an amazing story but an amazing movie! And people should learn it. Almost EVERYTHING social-economic-moral is in there. Most people can't even talk about their yesterday job... But wait! Peter has to be happy to talk about something that happened 35 years ago... How spoiled are you???
You know why there isn't much interest in Baywatch and Knight Rider??? Because between pretty people running on a beach and a talking car there isn't that much to discuss. What the hell do you know about artists, actors and alikes??? Most of them do their stuff... And want to move on to their next big thing! They don't want to talk about the same thing over and over and over again. It's boring for them and it´s boring for the public! Sure sometimes it's fascinating to talk about stuff that was missed or is approached on a different pov... But that's about it.That's a 15-30 minute talk at best. Peter also did other interesting things... Which sadly doesn't get recognized for. Better than mister alcoholic Hasselhoff

@@WELCOME2PATSPLACE He is over 70, he is excited about what he knows and he is interested in sharing it with people but he also knows people are less interested in these things than he is so he puts on a show. Being the heel and having the audience react negatively is better than having them get bored. He isn't being a dick, he is being a showman... Not everything in life is about making people feel good, in fact feeling angry is often leads to a more profound experience. Being a successfully adjusted adult means dealing with other people's emotions without engaging your own.

He is rich, he can eat in the best restaurants on the planet and say what you will about america but if you can afford it you can find the best of anything in america if you pay for it. I believe him. Italy while known for food is also known for a relaxed attitude towards work while america hard work is a virtue. These two things combined leads to america having the best of the best if you have the means.
Talks about how to treat people in the movie/tv industry and that you need to "slap yourself awake" yeah too bad he didn't do that for the nice scottish guy who asked him a perfectly reasonable question. smh......
