This is an absolute joy to watch. Ronny Cox and Peter Weller together is exactly what i wanted after playing Rogue City.
it's refreshing to see 2 old greats embrace their work and nerd-out just like us common folk. RIP Miguel Ferrer
Ronny Cox played such a bad-ass in the films I love.
I wish I saw Beverly Hills cop before robocop. I keep waiting for the scene he double crosses axel foley. 😅
Miguel Ferrer (RIP) and Kurtwood Smith (Clarence Boddicker) should've been here. Ronny Cox was also great in *"Deliverence"* and *"Total Recall."* 36 years on, *"Robocop"* is still a talked about masterpiece.
I think he's in the new Beverley hills cop movie too.
Kurtwood is entangled lightly in a scandal with Danny Masterson, so he might be avoiding the public ire. I don't think Smith meant to do harm, but he did write a letter defending Masterson (who was convicted of multiple rapes and sexual assault charges), so he's caught some flak. I wish he hadn't gotten involved, I love his work.
35ish years later still a huge following.
amazing.
Weller thinks he’s teaching a college class up there.😂
I'm down for that 😁
I love it when the guests are proud of the work they're famous for. It makes the experience of seeing g and meeting them so much better
Well, he is a university professor. I like getting a hint of what he's like in the classroom.
Shh, Dr. Weller is speaking. 🤣
Dont piss Weller off. 😂
Doctor Weller is giving the patrons a guided tour in the production of RoboCop and the development of the costume baring days wearing it 😢❤😊
Mr Cox is. Of the best movie villains.
Dr. Weller in the house. Great 2 see the hero and villain onstage.
Ronny Cox has aged well, almost looks the same age..
Holy hell! *_RONNY!_*
You could watch a 72-hour long marathon of "The Actors Studio" and never get a lesson or insight into acting and directing that's anything close to what this Robocop panel had to offer. Well played guys. Well played.
Great to see you guys still fantastic.
Peter is funny guy, true person and he steals the whole show by Ronny. Peter is speak talent. He is devoted to role acting. Peter is serious what he said. Energy dude.
Wow, these dudes are so old now. It is crazy to think that Robocop was filmed 35 years ago.
these guys gave a great acting class out of a great action flick scene, it mustabeen great to be there!
The great Ronnie Cox!!!
Weller looks old but once he speaks and moves, it seems like he barely aged.
Verhoven made Ronny a villain in Total Recall too!
It’s very fascinating to watch these guys talk and Weller is always interesting to listen to. But I found it interesting they never seem to talk about Murphy’s death scene.
Weller starts the panel scolding a fan for "being rude" and then consistently cuts off Ronny when he is trying to tell a story. Me thinks I would not like Weller in person.
You guys still are fantastic
RoboCop was my favorite
I hate seeing actors I grew up with getting old :(
I feel ya. My first two Batman's are dead and one is in his seventies. But, I love the opportunity to see interactions like this before it is too late. It's almost like getting your Grandpa going on part of his endlessly interesting life story you never appreciated hearing before.
I know, but we should also appreciate how lucky we are to have them on video talking so candidly like this. We are very lucky.
@macklee6837: maybe you don't like being reminded that you're not a kid yourself, too? You've also aged and don't like it,maybe?😅
I definitely agree
Peter is a great actor and starred in one of my favorite films of all time... but jeez is he an egomaniac.
I must've watched that movie too many times when I was a kiddie but sorry to say I probably grew out of it by 12 or 13 cant remember the age.
Ok I'm starting to think peter could play an old rastafarian now.
You learned to pop and lock. Cool 😎
You have the emotional maturity of a toddler.
Whatever dude 😊
I have everything in mind for RoboCop 😊❤
You would like to see a friend of mine ed 209
I love women and respect my wife and admit when I am wrong, but saying women are all smarter than men is a dumb statement.
Ronny Cox has aged
these actors are legends but peters ego is a little much here. Especially for a dude who wore a plastic costume 43 years ago... I wish he had spoken more about their actual filming experience than just peters stoner thesis of the movies script and themes (even though he was just an actor in robo). fun watch nonetheless tho
He's an actor and a doctor of history. There's no way that sort of extrovert isn't going to rattle on. Plus, after years of shrugging off the role it's been really nice for the fans.
Back in the day at the RoboCop Archive forum we used to joke about meeting him at cons and having violent, abusive encounters. It wasn't until a screening in Austin about 10 or 15 years ago that he came to appreciate the film the way the fans did and has been much more forthcoming and embracing of the audience.
Also, dude's been directing tons of shit and has story telling in his blood. Look up his IMDB.
He extremely passionate about what he is talking about, not a ego.
@@Chloe1sylvester1234 I respect he is an impassioned artiste (moustache twirl), I guess my thought was its a robo panel not a university lecture hall and much of what he says here just felt out of context given his actual level of participation on the movie. I guess it must be frustrating to re hash the same conversational bits on the work he did so many years ago but there it is. Also I just played the robo rogue city game and his voice over work was bloody fantastic!
@@SpontaneousWeasel I do kind understand where you are coming from. He is properly the time of guy who does seem to put peoples back up and is quite blurt to people with out thinking. That saying Peter Weller is still the best voice artist for Robocop, proved that in the game.
