I typically use 20-30lb braid mostly 20, with 25lb mono leader with a 4/0 red circle hook and medium small to medium largish pinkish for snook around docks on a medium to medium heavy spinning rod with a 4000 size reel and drag medium to medium heavy depending on structure. And a 6’6-7’ rod all dependent on what the structure I’m fishing for accuracy. I like being sporty and the massive adrenaline rich and largest snook is close to 38”-40” in dock pickings on the open side so fish can run into or away from dock.

I like using UL rod with 2k reel 10lb braid with 30lb mono leader have to cpr for a bit tho but hella fun
