Taking My Full Bolt-On BMW M2 To The Dyno!

- In today's episode, I finally got to bring my OG N55 M2 to the dyno get some baseline numbers. The car currently has full bolt-ons and made good power for even being on the stock tune. Next stage we will be tuning it to stage 2 plus using MHD and returning back to the dyno to see what the results are.

If you factor in a 15% drivetrain loss those are pretty impressive numbers for just bolt ons. Looking forward to the next go around with more power mods. I think you’ll easily hit 400+ wheel

I’d image you’ll be around 415whp with the tune. Add the ethanol sensor and round E50 i would expect another 25hp
Nice. I can’t wait to see it on mhd. I have a 335n55 f30 and it was a big improvement when I went mhd stage 2+. But It cutting a little on stock fueling. Time to get that stage 2.5 lpfp
Yes after MHD the next step is to do fuel pumps leaning towards Dorch Engineering
Yea Dorch stage 2 is what I’m going with for my hpfp. For my lpfp I’m going Walbro 450LPH. My boy knows how to rebuild them.

Go with HPFP first. I have been FBO for about 1yr. I seen my hpfp not meet demands on Stage 2 and plus when reviewing logs. You should install the Hpfp, run a e85 map for a bit, then go bigger turbo...More content and imagine you''ll be around 450(ish) with the e85. I'll be installing flex fuel, dorche stage 2, and pure750 next week. These m2's are a riot

My OG made 421 crank on dyno stock then 428 with same mods as you just different brands and sports cat not decatted. Also had turbo smart dv valve. 99 ron fuel. Now mhd 2+ but haven't re-dyno'd. Subbed. Youve seen hpfp maps for n55? They still not released data or what pump to use. Id go dorch stg1 if i do it. Turbo for me would be pure500
Yes MHD has maps for hpfp, Dorch is definitely the way to go and I plan to upgrade to it as well. Still on the fence about which to turbo to get but it’s between CTS and Pure
Nice runs! I'm running a PS2 turbo on mine with a custom tune and she moves pretty good but I haven't got to dyno it yet.

@@MotoGearTV yeah man that'll be sick! I'm hoping to hit 500ish wheel at least with fueling being limited to only a Dorsch stage 1 HPFP and a little E mixed in 😁👍🏼If I could at least hang with these stage 2 S55's I'll be happy haha.

@@framefragsgaming2942 you don't have to run meth, you can definitely get some good gains on just E! I'd recommend an upgraded hpfp for sure 👍

brother, get a dorche stage 2 fuel pump asap run 50% e85 eth you will not believe how MASSIVE the difference is from stage 2. i almost sold the car stage 2 bolt ons got old really quick was tired of golf R's keeping up with me lol wasn't fast enough...but now shiiiieeet
That’s my plan too. I’m almost FBO stage 2 and I lose to 10 speeds top end 😒
lol Yupp fueling has always been an issue with these cars but I plan to fix that very shortly as well👍🏾
its no drag car! but i got some KW v2's this thing with full e85 handles like a jet fighter. dont forget to upgrade brake pads aswell with that added power the stock ones will not keep up.

what is the max power you can get out of the n55?
It really depends on the setup, I think the highest one I’ve seen is 750hp with a built engine, stock engine probably 600-650
