    Thanks for tuning into yet another one of my videos! In today's video we go over 15+ hidden features almost every BMW has, including one so unbelievable I had to check the BMW technical training guide. Overall there's a bunch of hidden BMW features here that are both cool and new. In fact I don't think there are any videos on the BMW M2's burnout mode. Most of the 15+ hidden features almost every BMW has aren't really talked about much either.Thank you again for watching and I hope you have an amazing week!

    wheelspin start is available on most DCT BMWs, not just the M2. I had it on my old E82 135 with the DCT.

      Hey bro! Thanks for letting me know, I was read through the technical training pdf and some forum posts and it seemed like it was only on the M2. The 135i is a great car though! Darryl used to have one and it was a whole lot of fun

      @@collectingms3803 I used it mostly at drags to warm up my tyres. On forums, they call it a "smokey burnout feature". Great car you have there bro.

      Hey bro! I'm super happy it was helpful! It's a bit tricky to get it saved.. what you have to do is go to the menu section right before clicking sport displays and save that as a preset. Please let me know if that works

      @@collectingms3803 yes I got it. And it still displays the sport display, so it's perfect. 😁👌

    Another great video. Love your energy and channel. Also your m2 og is looking fresh. Where did you happen to get your cs style hood and comp seats from?. Those 2 things are a must for me.

    Hi Long time, no chat. I recently found that locking the car (to turn off the stereo) with the windows down (Summer time action) doesn't stay that way. The car thinks that you neglected to roll up the windows after a while and does the job for you. Found out bout this one when visiting a local cruise night. Parked, popped the hood, killed the stereo and went to see the other cars. (Wild selection). Came back, and my windows were up. Surprise!!. Did it again last night, so I set it up again and waited. Sure enough, it finished the lockup job. BTW, have you ever found the casual gatherings we talked about? The M2 gets a lot of attention among hot rods, Corvettes of all ages, and even the occasional Ferrari. Very eclectic bunch of enthusiasts. With all of your mods, you'd get a lot of attention.

      Hey! How are you? I honestly never knew that, but thank you. I'm sure I'll end up making another one of these feature videos in the future and this will be one of them. I have not yet, but I did go to a BMW track day a couple months ago, which was one of my best car experiences yet. We went on the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, which is an insanely fun track to drive. I've also been going to a few new meets here and there

    • @SkipG42
      @SkipG42 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@collectingms3803 I've also found out that the feature only works if the windows are all the way down. I'm thinking of doing a track day next Spring at a local private road course. One way to find the limits. Coming back home from PA this July, I pushed it to 110 on the Indiana tollway. Smooth as glass, no strain at all. PA has some twisty roads that are fun to drive. Think popping over a hill and encountering a downhill left, reverse camber curve. Gets your attention!!! Good to see you're getting out and socializing with fellow enthusiasts. Keep having fun!!!

    • @SkipG42

      It seems s though there more factors involved with the window thing. Went to the laundromat for ~2hrs. Windows stayed down. Ambient temp, time of day, light level? who knows. Right now it's sitting in front w/windows down. We'll see.

    • @collectingms3803
      @collectingms3803  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SkipG42 That sounds amazing! You should definitely go for it. Unfortunately the track I'm talking about is only open to groups and the one I'm in (a BMW official group) only gets to go on it once a summer. I'll be going next year for sure though. Ended up going to the US, but not with my car. Definitely want to do a road trip soon and test out those twisty roads haha

      @@SkipG42 Is it possible that there's something in your pocket causing the lock button to be pressed? Maybe it has to do with the car sensing it'll rain?

      @@HanDynastyNet I think I'll have to check mine again then. It seemed cooled when it was coming out, but I'd only had it going for about a minute or so and that was right after using the AC. I didn't end up trying the timed ventilation mode, but it's worth testing
