Not only does this blow the original PS2 version out of the water (no pun intended), but this might be my favorite arrangement of He’s a Pirate in general. It’s just THAT good.

My dad came home from work while I was playing during a cutscene without Sora, and was like "Wait, hold on, when did we get a pirates of the caribbean game? It looks cool." And when I told him it was kingdom hearts, he laughed his ass off.
Kingdom 2 was my first exposure to this franchise and when I arrived at Port Royal, my 4 year old self was just blown away they put POTC in the game, especially when Dead Man’s Chest was coming out that summer

Been using this as the main theme for a high seas dnd campaign. My players love it when I bust it out! It reminds me of when I was in middle school, we played this as part of a pirates medley. Just gets my heart pumping for adventure.

I love song titles with pronouns in them. It gives you this real “If you know, you know” vibe, since you have to understand the context of when the song plays to understand that ‘He’ isn’t just Jack Sparrow, but also Wil Turner, who embraces his life as a pirate when he defends Jack of Isla De Muerta. But, for this particular version, I think ‘He’ might be someone else, too.

Tfw Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction ripped off this game... Y'know, since that game also involves James Arnold Taylor fighting pirates at one point...
While its better than the orginal battle theme its still isn't as good as the orginal he's a pirate dont know why they felt the need to add cymbals and despite being a battle theme it sounds less intense. Its also a shame this isn't used in the Barbosa fight.
