Have 6” portals now on a Can Am Defender 2023 Lone Star Cab (4 door). 38” tires. Turning radius is awful huge. What advice please? Looking at going down to 35” tires and 18-20” wheels. Please help w my radius during turning? Advice? Offset or any ideas?
I’m brand new to this but we are purchasing a ranger with 6”lift turf delete and double chain upgrade. It will be used for mud parks, some are saying if u upgrade clutch and chain u are fine others swear by portals. Ranger has 20” wheel 35” tires also.
We love the portals because you gain so much articulation with the width and you get clearance without sacrificing ride comfort and shock angles. Just comes down to your style of riding and what will work best for you!
In mid process of installing my 6in super ATV portals 45% reduction. I cannot wait to see how they handle. I exploded my 09 razor 800s rear diff. Installed a new one and now installing the portals before I ride it. I'm curre fly on fwd arched a arms front and rear. Running 35in bkts on 20s. We will see how she does
I’m looking to do some portals on my 2020 talon x4 live valve . Currently have 32” tires ... don’t want to go to much bigger . What gear reduction would you recommend 15% or 30%... mostly Midwest trail riding and some rock climbing .
Great upgrade, also in my opinion SuperATV should start offering the Radial Joint and Retaining ring for the rear with the kit or maybe as an add on for the Can-AM because they are almost impossible to get in less than 2 to 4 weeks
Portals for the 570 RZR's? I think that would be sick! My buddy just got one for his kid and he wants to have him start rock crawling and portals would be a real nice upgrade for the 570's
Has anyone else had issues with turning after putting portals on? I just put 4 inch portals on my 2020 can am maverick sport xxc and I can't turn this thing in a 5 acre field.
Update on my issue on turning radius. The front steering arms was installed on the wrong side after swapping the steering arms i have stock steering. What a nightmare.
I haven’t broke none yet but I did have two axles that started popping. Turned out stock suspension did not have adjustable pivot points, and it through my camber our putting axles in a bind. I bought the super atv suspension parts and I could adjust the camber for the machine with the portals and no axle issues at all now for me bud.
Awesome job guys! And great job Super ATV! between the two of you, the standard is always improving! I'm really loving the new gear reduction to accommodate 32" tires.
2004 Yamaha rhino 660 portals?
Possibly go to www.Superatv.com
portals for 2022 Can Am Commander available yet?
Let me look

That sounds like a good time, keep us posted!
What about all the added stress on the ball joints?
We definitely recommend upgrading to a HD ball joint.

Sticking to a 32" tire then 15% would be our recommendation
Ordered mine last night can't wait
That is awesome Jay, keep us posted!

Russ Adams We have never portaled a 570. Not a bad idea. Now I am curious if they make them for the 570’s
SlikRok Productions yeah I just thought that would be a good product. It would make them a lot more capable in the rocks.
@@russadams1298 They do make portals for the 570 rzr's!

You talking loss of turning radius or steering has become hard?
I had to use spacers to run the 14 inch rims.
@The Curse of Crazy you can clear 15's that's what I have on mine now.

I want 4'' portals so bad I can't stand it but it is going to be a while before I can save up the money. Hopefully towards the end of the year.
They are a great investment and really changed the game for us!
