  • The XE6 is the most complete of the second generation Juice series of tools. While it is considerably more bulky than it's other Juice counterparts, it offers a great amount of functionality. Sold originally with a leather case, it offered users the ability to sheath carry this tool.

    Thanks for another great review. Quick hint, the Victorinox mini screwdriver will fit in the corkscrew. I have also found that the Vic plastic toothpick will slide under the corkscrew and stay securely there. It takes a bit of fiddle around to get the corkscrew sitting flat but I haven’t lost the toothpick yet. These two things add to a great multi tool.

    What’s up Ben ,, another Leatherman video, can’t get enough of them . I got lucky on my XE6 I found one at a pawn in horrible shape , picked it up for $3 bucks. The knife was broken so I sent it in to Leatherman and in 5 days I had a brand new in my hand. Love there warranty. Like I said I have around 90 Leathermans . A great collection, but not like your Charge collection, I really like that 👍 just wonder why they are stopping the juice XE 6 , and the other juice series , do you? I still really my love KF4’s great multitool

    • @txtoolcrib

      My guess is that the line was not selling well enough to make it financially viable to keep producing. At the end of the day they are in business to make money. It's a shame though, because the Juice line is actually pretty nice. They just needed pocket clips. That was some kind of find on the XE6 by the way.

    If this multitool had a normal 2 (or 3) in 1 can+bottle opener (+vire striper), instead of the abomination, i would buy it for sure. There is always the one tool, that ruins the deal :D I say, lets start selling them customisable. "This many, this and this tools can fit in this frame, what will you choose, dear customer?" Deal done, money in pocket.

  • @DerekZimmer
    @DerekZimmer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think part of the decision on what to carry is size and weight vs variety. Rebar and Juice are comparable in size but not on variety or robustness. One is more robust and the other has variety. To have it all requires a combo of multi tools. But the idea of a multi tool is to carry a single tool when ever possible.

    • @txtoolcrib
      @txtoolcrib  4 ปีที่แล้ว
