    My husband could stand for few mts holing Walker with his good right hand but now when we tried to make him hold with affected left hand he is unable to stand. Which video to follow before this. Pl. help.

    • @PhysioClassroom
      @PhysioClassroom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello,
      Holding on to a walker with weaker side hand will not be possible for many patients.
      Instead try pushing down with the weaker hand on a table kept at side ( with weaker hand supported ) during standing will help.
      For practical instructions on how to stand using more of the weaker side watch our video " 6 important steps of sit to stand Exercise" from the paralysis treatment guide playlist.

      If You perform all the exercises sequences as from lying to sitting to standing and follow the treatment techniques as mentioned in the videos, then the hand will start recovering the grip control.
      There are lots many strategies that I will be covering in upper limb rehabilitation exercises for stroke patients some time later.
      Do share our videos with your batchmates, seniors, juniors and teachers and help us in reaching out to maximum people from Physiotherapy fraternity.
      Thanks again for watching.

      Make the patient practice as much as he can to progess through various levels of Exercises.
      Keeping the patient motivated and choosing exercises that can be mastered with slight difficulty is essential
