Way late to seeing this reply. Just out of curiosity, did the bike get damaged? Kind of serious question, those things weren't cheap. Did you have bikes that were just for stunt scenes? So cool you worked on the show!

Same. Mine was pre owned too when I bought it 9 years ago and rode with the wheels almost everyday commuting to work with them. I'm not using them anymore now though as I'm now riding on a 29er. And also due to the age, it's best not to ride on them. Those rim braking surface will give way sooner or later. Or maybe even the hubs. Even so, I still think they look cool now as they did back then. I think the last time I rode on the spinergy was 5 or 6 years ago when I took them off road. This was before I bought a 29er though.

I did ride down stairs a few times when I rode on those wheels. Nothing to it really. Mine was the super stiff version though.
